CBS WINS THE WEEK IN VIEWERS, ADULTS 18-49 AND ADULTS 25-54

Viewer Winning Streak Grows to 7 Weeks

CBS Delivers the Largest Weekly Audience of Any Network This Season and Its Highest Weekly Demo Deliveries

"60 Minutes" Is the Number One Show for Second Consecutive Week - First Back-to-Back Since 92/93

"NCIS," "The Big Bang Theory," "The Mentalist" Deliver Series Best Viewer Deliveries;" "The Amazing Race" and "The Unit" Have Their Largest Audiences of the Season;" "Ghost Whisperer" Attracts Its Largest Audience Since 2006

CBS extended its winning streak in viewers to seven consecutive weeks and also captured its fourth weekly win out of eight in key adult demographics, led by 60 MINUTES, the No. 1 program for the second straight week, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Nov. 16, week eight of the 2008-2009 television season.

CBS delivered the largest weekly audience of any network this season (12.13m) and the Network's highest weekly adult 18-49 (3.3/09) and adult 25-54 ratings (4.3/10)

60 MINUTES, which featured President-elect Barack Obama's first post-election interview, garnered 25.10 million viewers, its largest audience since January 1999. With its second consecutive week at the top of the viewer rankings, 60 MINUTES posted back-to-back No.1 weekly ranking for the first time since the weeks ending 12/27/92 and 1/3/93. 60 MINUTES ranks as the #1 broadcast this season on any network.

CBS also notched series highs from NCIS (18.75 million viewers), THE BIG BANG THEORY (10.01m) and THE MENTALIST (16.52m), season highs from THE AMAZING RACE (12.13m) and THE UNIT (10.23m) as well as the largest audience since 2006 for GHOST WHISPERER (11.58m).

For the week in viewers: CBS (12.13m), ABC (10.47m), NBC (7.74m) and FOX (6.78m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (11.91m), ahead of ABC (10.61m), FOX (8.11m) and NBC (7.97m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (4.3/10) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09) with season highs for the network in both measures. Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 and tied with ABC for first in adults 18-49.

For the week in households: CBS (7.7/12), (6.7/11), NBC (4.8/08) and FOX (4.1/06). In households, season-to-date, CBS is first (7.5/12), ahead of ABC (6.8/11) and both NBC and FOX (5.0/08, each).

CBS Weekly Highlights:

--Monday, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (4.8/11), adults 18-49 (3.9/10), second in households (7.5/11) and viewers (11.90m).

? THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in adults 18-49 (3.9/10), adults 18-34 (2.8/08), second in households (6.2/09), viewers (10.01m) and adults 25-54 (4.5/11). THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +5% in both households (from 5.9/09) and adults 18-49 (from 3.7/10), +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.4/10) and added +340,000 viewers (from 9.67m, +4%) compared to last week. THE BIG BANG THEORY posted series highs in households, viewers, adults 18-49 and matched series highs in adults 25-54.

? HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was first in adults 18-34 (3.5/09), second in households (5.9/09), viewers (9.79m), adults 25-54 (4.8/11) and adults 18-49 (4.2/10, -0.1 behind ABC). Compared to last week, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was up +2% in both households (from 5.8/09) and adults 18-49 (from 4.1/10), +7% in adults 25-54 (from 4.5/10) and added +390,000 viewers (from 9.40m, +4%). HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER posted season highs in households, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 and best delivery of viewers since Sept. 22 (2008-09 season premiere).

? TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in adults 25-54 (6.2/13), adults 18-49 (4.9/11), second in households (8.9/13) and viewers (14.50m). TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +11% in both households (from 8.0/11) and adults 25-54 (from 5.6/11), +7% in adults 18-49 (from 4.6/10) and added +1.74m viewers (from 12.76m, +14%) compared to last week.

? CSI: MIAMI was first in households (8.9/15), viewers (13.67m), adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and adults 18-49 (3.7/10). Compared to last week, CSI: MIAMI was up +6% in households (from 8.5/14), +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.7/11), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.6/09) and added +1.08m viewers (from 12.74m, +8%).

-- Tuesday, CBS was first in households (9.8/15), viewers (15.83m), second in adults 25-54 (5.0/11, -0.1 behind FOX) and adults 18-49 (3.6/09). This was CBS's best Tuesday household and viewers performance since November 15, 2005, best adults 25-54 since May 16, 2006 and best adults 18-49 performance since February 6, 2007.

? NCIS won its time slot in households (11.2/17), viewers (18.75m), was second in adults 25-54 (5.6/13) and adults 18-49 (4.0/10). This is the best viewers delivery ever for NCIS, best adults 25-54 performance since October 16, 2007 and best adults 18-49 delivery since November 6, 2007. NCIS has won its time period every week this season in viewers. NCIS was Tuesday's #1 program in households and viewers.

? THE MENTALIST won its time slot in adults 25-54 (5.5/12), adults 18-49 (4.0/10), tied for first in viewers (16.52m, with ABC) and was second in households (10.1/15) This is the first time THE MENTALIST topped a first-run episode of "Fringe" in adults 18-49 (vs. 3.8/09, +5%). THE MENTALIST posted series highs for the second consecutive broadcast in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49, matched series high in households.

--Thursday, CBS was first in households (8.9/14), viewers (14.56m), adults 25-54 (5.2/12) and adults 18-49 (4.1/10). This is CBS's sixth consecutive Thursday night win in these measures.

? SURVIVOR: GABON was first in households (7.6/12), viewers (12.89m), adults 25-54 (5.0/12) and adults 18-49 (4.0/11). SURVIVOR has won its time period for seventh consecutive weeks in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. Compared to last week, SURVIVOR was up +6% in households (from 7.2/11), +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.9/12), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 3.8/10) and added +880,000 viewers (from 12.01m, +7%).

? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION won its time period for the sixth consecutive week in households (11.6/17), viewers (19.05m) and adults 25-54 (6.7/15). CSI was second in adults 18-49 (5.1/12). Compared to last week, CSI was up +4% in households (from 11.2/17), even in adults 18-49 and added +870,000 viewers (from 18.18m, +5%).

? ELEVENTH HOUR was first in households (7.6/13), viewers (11.63m) second in adults 25-54 (3.9/09) and adults 18-49 (3.1/08). ELEVENTH HOUR was up +9% in households (from 7.0/12), even in adults 18-49 and added +730,000 viewers (from 10.90m, +7%) compared to last week.

--Sunday, CBS was first in households (10.4/16), viewers (16.93m), second in both adults 25-54 (5.8/13) and adults 18-49 (4.5/11). CBS's NFL 31-minute prime run over posted a 15.7/27 with 25.76m viewers, 9.6/25 in adults 25-54 and 8.4/24 in adults 18-49. CBS led the 7:00-7:30PM time period in households, viewers and key demographics.

? 60 MINUTES delivered a 15.1/23 with 25.10m viewers, 8.1/18 in adults 25-54 and 6.3/16 in adults 18-49. From 7:30-8:30PM, CBS led the time period in all these measures. This is 60 MINUTES best households and viewers deliveries since January 17, 1999 and best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 performances since January 9, 2000. 60 MINUTES delivered the most viewers of any broadcast season-to-date. 60 MINUTES was the #1 program in viewers for the second consecutive week. The last time 60 MINUTES ranked first in-season in consecutive weeks were the weeks ending December 27, 1992 and January 3, 1993.

? THE AMAZING RACE (8:31-9:31PM) posted season-high deliveries in households (7.3/11), viewers (12.13m), adults 25-54 (4.5/09) and adults 18-49 (3.5/08).

? THE UNIT (10:31-11:31PM) posted a 6.5/12 with 10.23m, 3.4/09 in adults 25-54 and 2.7/07 in adults 18-49, season highs in households and viewers, matched the season's best deliveries in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.
