CBS Scores Its Largest Audience and Highest Adult 18-49 Rating on a Wednesday Since December

CBS SCORES ITS LARGEST AUDIENCE AND HIGHEST ADULT 18-49 RATING ON A WEDNESDAY SINCE DECEMBER

CBS's Entire Wednesday Night Lineup Posts Increases Over Last First Run Broadcasts

With its entire Wednesday lineup returning to first-run, CBS scored its largest audience and highest ratings in adults 18-49 since December as all of the Network's programs posted increases over their last original broadcast, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for March 11.

THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was second in households (4.9/08), viewers (7.63m), adults 25-54 (2.8/08) and adults 18-49 (2.1/07). Compared to the last first run episode (on February 18, 2009), OLD CHRISTINE was up +14% in households (from 4.3/07), +12% in adults 25-54 (from 2.5/06), +17% in adults 18-49 (from 1.8/05) and added +910,000 viewers (from 6.72m, +14%).

GARY UNMARRIED was second in households (4.8/08), viewers (7.71m), adults 25-54 (3.0/08) and adults 18-49 (2.3/07). Compared to the last first run episode (on February 18, 2009), GARY UNMARRIED was up +17% in households (from 4.1/09), +20% in adults 25-54 (from 2.5/06), +21% in adults 18-49 (from 1.9/06) and added +1.21m viewers (from 6.50m, +19%).

CRIMINAL MINDS was second in households (8.8/14), viewers (14.07), adults 25-54 (4.7/11) and adults 18-49 (3.5/09). Compared to the last first run episode (on February 25, 2009), CRIMINAL MINDS was up +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.6/10), even in adults 18-49 and added +140,000 viewers (from 13.93m, +1%).

CSI: NY was first in households (8.6/14), viewers (13.52m), adults 25-54 (4.6/11) and adults 18-49 (3.5/09). Compared to the last first run episode (on February 25, 2009), CSI: NY was up +6% in households (from 8.1/14), +10% in adults 25-54 (from 4.2/10), +13% in adults 18-49 (from 3.1/08) and added +960,000 viewers (from 12.56m, +8%).

For the night, CBS was second in households (7.4/12), viewers (11.76m), adults 25-54 (4.1/10) and adults 18-49 (3.1/08). Compared to the last night of first run Wednesday programs, CBS was up +3% in households (from 7.2/12), +8% in adults 25-54 (from 3.8/09), +11% in adults 18-49 (from 2.8/07) and added +550,000 viewers (from 11.21m, +5%).

This is CBS's largest Wednesday audience and highest rated in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since Dec. 17.
