The Season Finale of "The Big Bang Theory" Posts Its Best Deliveries in all Key Measures in a Month
"CSI: Miami" Wins Its Time Period in Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54
CBS placed first in adults 18-49 (tie) on the penultimate Monday of the season as the second year finale of THE BIG BANG THEORY enjoyed its biggest ratings in all key measures in a month, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for May 11.
THE BIG BANG THEORY's (6.0/10, 9.81m) season finale was second in adults 18-49 (3.6/11), adults 18-34 (2.6/09) and tied for second in adults 25-54 (4.4/12, with ABC). Compared to last week, THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +3% in households (from 5.8/09), +7% in adults 25-54 (from 4.1/11), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 3.4/10), +4% in adults 18-34 (from 2.5/08) and added +560,000 viewers (from 9.25m, +6%). These were its best deliveries since April 13.
HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (5.4/08, 8.70m) was second in adults 18-34 (2.9/09) and averaged a 4.2/11 in adults 25-54 and 3.6/10 in adults 18-49.
TWO AND A HALF MEN was second in households (8.1/12), viewers (12.89m), adults 25-54 (5.6/13, -0.1 behind ABC), adults 18-49 (4.4/11, -0.1 behind ABC) and adults 18-34 (2.8/08).
RULES OF ENGAGEMENT was second in households (6.3/10), viewers (10.13m), adults 25-54 (4.6/10) and adults 18-49 (3.6/09).
CSI: MIAMI was first in households (8.6/14), viewers (13.37m), adults 25-54 (5.0/12) and adults 18-49 (3.9/11).
For the night, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (4.8/12), tied for first in adults 18-49 (3.9/10, with FOX), second in households (7.2/11) and viewers (11.38m).
