CBS WINS TUESDAY IN VIEWERS "48 Hours Mystery" Special, "Michael Jackson: Picking Up the Pieces," Anchored by Katie Couric, Wins Its Time Period in all Key Measures with Its Best Delivery this Summer in Adults 25-54 While Matching Best Adult 18-49 Rating CBS placed first on Tuesday in viewers and second in key demographics, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Tuesday, June 30. NCIS (R) was first in households (6.7/12), viewers (10.66m), tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.8/09, with NBC) and second in adults 18-49 (2.0/07). THE MENTALIST TUESDAY (R) was second in households (6.6/11), viewers (10.36m), adults 25-54 (2.6/07) and adults 18-49 (1.9/06) against first-run programming. "48 HOURS MYSTERY" special, MICHAEL JACKSON: PICKING UP THE PIECES, anchored by Katie Couric, won its time slot in households (5.5/10), viewers (8.15m), adults 25-54 (2.8/08) and adults 18-49 (2.0/06). This is 48 HOURS MYSTERY TUESDAY's best delivery this summer in adults 25-54, matches the best in adults 18-49 performance and second best deliveries in both households and viewers. For the night, CBS was first in households (6.3/11), viewers (9.72m), second in both adults 25-54 (2.7/08) and adults 18-49 (2.0/06). Updated Tuesday ratings will be available this afternoon.
