The season finale episode of DEADLIEST CATCH concluded a ratings record breaking season for the skippers in P/M/W 25-54, P/M/W 18-49, and M18-34 delivery. The Tuesday, July 28 episode at 9PM ranked #1 on ad-supported cable in prime posting a 2.32 P2554 and 2.12 P1849.

Throughout Season 5 (4/14/09-7/28/09) DEADLIEST CATCH was the #1 regular non-sports cable program on Tuesdays for P25-54, M25-54, P18-49 and M18-49 delivery. Every Tuesday of Season 5's 16 week run, each premiere of DEADLIEST CATCH was the #1 non-sports prime cable telecast for P25-54 delivery.

In its second week, new hit series THE COLONY continues strong numbers at 10PM, placing #3 among M25-54 and #4 among M18-49 in prime ad-supported cable in ratings and delivery with a 1.29 HH, 1.16 P2554 and 1.07 P1849.

Compared to it's Season Four finale, audience gains for DEADLIEST CATCH Season Five finale were posted for HH (+10%), P 25-54 (+9%) and M25-54 (+13%).

And across all sixteen weeks, Season 5 compared to Season 4 posted delivery gains for P2+ (+11% to 3,502) and key demos Double-digit gains were posted for HH (+12% to 2,469), P25-54 (+10% to 2,339), and M25-54 (+13% to 1,431).
