With Its Youngest Skewing Month, Network Up Double Digits

Bravo Digital On Pace For Historic Best August With Over 90 Million Page Views

NEW YORK - September 1, 2009 - Continuing its upward ratings trend, Bravo earned its highest rated month ever in adults 18-49 with an average of 554,000 viewers tuning in (up 12 percent year-over-year), according to Nielsen Media Research. Driven by its hit series "Top Chef: Las Vegas," "Top Chef Masters," "Flipping Out," "The Rachel Zoe Project" and "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," the network also achieved its highest rated August ever among total viewers, with an average of 866,000 viewers.

In August 2009, Bravo had three out of its top five best weeks ever among adults 18-49 with back-to-back best weeks ever in August (the weeks of Aug. 10 and 17), and registered its youngest skewing month ever with a median age of 39.4.

Bravo Digital also is pacing to record its best August delivery ever, with over 90 million page views (up double digits versus July 2009, 82.6 million), nearly four million unique visitors and 5.7 million video streams. Year-to-year, monthly uniques are up 43 percent (vs. 2.73 million) and video streams are up 183 percent (vs. 2.03 million). BravoTV.com is on pace for its best August delivery ever in uniques and video streams, up 50 percent (2.96 million vs. 1.97 million) and 203 percent (5.71 million vs. 1.88 million) respectively year-to-year. TelevisionWithoutPity.com also scored double digit growth in page views and monthly uniques, up 17 percent (38 million vs. 32.4 million) and 27 percent (1.02 million vs. 803,000) respectively.

Bravo's buzzworthy hit creative competition and docu-series continue to post record breaking ratings growth season-to-season and across all demographics. In its regular timeslot, "Top Chef: Las Vegas'" second episode earned 1.93 million adults 18-49 and 2.77 million total viewers, up 10 percent among adults 18-49 and seven percent among total viewers versus the prior week's 9 p.m. season premiere. "Top Chef Masters" became Bravo's highest rated first season competition show, with its season finale garnering 1.67 million adults 18-49 and 2.42 million total viewers.

Through two episodes, "Flipping Out" is averaging 1.03 million total viewers, up 66 percent among adults 18-49 and up 64 percent among total viewers versus the prior season. "The Rachel Zoe Project's" season two premiere was up 27 percent among adults 18-49 and up 30 percent among total viewers. Bravo's first ever topical series "Watch What Happens: Live" posted the network's highest Thursday late night (12A-4A) telecast ever among adults 18-49 and season-to-date averages 481,000 adults 18-49 and 707,000 total viewers. From its very first airing (7/16/09) to its most recent episode (8/27/09), ratings have increased 170 percent among adults 18-49 and 120 percent among total viewers.

Up triple digits in all demos versus season one, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" continues to break records in its sophomore season with the series' highest non-finale franchise telecast ever in all demographics. Through five episodes, "Atlanta" is averaging 2.07 million adults 18-49 and 2.99 million total viewers, up 119 percent among adults 18-49 and up 139 percent among total viewers.

Online, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" marked the biggest premiere day for any Real Housewives series with 1.04 million page views, 86.8 million unique visitors and 318,000 video streams. This was also the best premiere ever in video streams for any series in Bravo's available history. The series logged 17.7 million page views on BravoTV.com during the month of August and over one million unique visitors.
