"NCIS" and "NCIS: LOS ANGELES" Are the #1 Show and #1 New Show, Respectively, For The Fourth Consecutive Week

This Marks the First Time the Same Network Has Had the Same #1 Show and #1 New Show for the First Four Weeks of the Season Since Fall 1998

"The Big Bang Theory" Is Top Comedy in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54

"CSI," "The Mentalist," "Numb3rs" and "Three Rivers" All Post Week-to-Week Growth

CBS extended its new season winning streak to four weeks in viewers and adults 25-54 and placed first in adults 18-49 for the second consecutive week, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Oct. 18, week four of the 2009-2010 television season.

CBS dominated the weekly viewer rankings with seven of the Top 10 programs including the top six scripted series: NCIS (#1 for the fourth straight week), NCIS: LOS ANGELES (#4), CSI (#5), THE MENTALIST (#6), TWO AND A HALF MEN (#8) and CRIMINAL MINDS (#10).

NCIS and NCIS: LOS ANGELES were the number one show and number one new show for the fourth consecutive week marking the first time the same network has had the same #1 show and #1 new show for the first four weeks of the season since fall 1998 (NBC's "E.R." and "Jesse").

THE BIG BANG THEORY was the Number One comedy in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 (tied with TWO AND A HALF MEN), SURVIVOR: SAMOA and THE AMAZING RACE hit new season high audience deliveries and CSI, THE MENTALIST, NUMB3RS and THREE RIVERS all posted week-to-week growth.

For the week in viewers: CBS (11.88m), ABC (9.03m), FOX (8.14m) and NBC (7.41m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (12.40m), ahead of ABC (9.97m), FOX (7.96m) and NBC (7.84m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in both adults 25-54 (4.1/10) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09). CBS was first in adults 25-54 for the fourth consecutive week, first in adults 18-49 for the second straight week. Compared to the same week last year, CBS was up +3% in both households and viewers, even in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

For the week in households: CBS (7.5/12), ABC (5.8/10), FOX (4.8/08) and NBC (4.7/08). Season-to-date, CBS is first (7.7/13), ahead of ABC (6.4/11), NBC (4.9/08) and FOX (4.7/08).

CBS's Weekly Highlights:

-- Monday, CBS won adults 25-54 (4.9/11), adults 18-49 (4.1/10), was second in households (7.3/11), viewers (11.68m) and adults 18-34 (2.9/08). Compared to last week, CBS was up +3% in viewers (from 11.32m), +4% in both adults 25-54 (from 4.7/11) and adults 18-34 (from 2.8/07), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 3.9/09) and even in households.

? HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (5.4/08, 8.56m) was second in adults 18-49 (3.6/09) and adults 18-34 (3.2/09). Compared to last week, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was up +2% in households (from 5.3/08), +3% in adults 25-54 (4.0/09 from 3.9/09), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 3.4/09), +10% in adults 18-34 (from 2.9/08) and added +480,000 viewers (from 8.08m, +6%).

? ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE was up +2% in households (4.8/07 from 4.7/07), +6% in adults 25-54 (3.6/08 from 3.4/07), +7% in adults 18-49 (3.0/07 from 2.8/07), +21% in adults 18-34 (2.3/06 from 1.9/05) and added +560,000 viewers (7.73m from 7.17m, +8%) compared to last week.

? TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in adults 25-54 (6.0/13), adults 18-49 (4.8/11), adults 18-34 (3.1/08), second behind ABC in both households (8.7/13) and viewers (14.17m) at 9PM. Compared to last week, TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +4% in households (from 8.4/12), +9% in both adults 25-54 (from 5.5/12) and adults 18-49 (from 4.4/10), +15% in adults 18-34 (from 2.7/07) and added +870,000 viewers (from 13.30m, +7%).

? THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in adults 25-54 (6.0/13), adults 18-49 (5.0/12), adults 18-34 (3.4/09), second in both households (8.0/12) and viewers (13.07m). THE BIG BANG THEORY built on its TWO AND A HALF MEN lead-in by +4% in adults 18-49, +10% in adults 18-34 and retained 100% of its adults 25-54 lead-in. THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +3% in households (from 7.8/12), +7% in adults 25-54 (from 5.6/12), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 4.7/11), +3% in adults 18-34 (from 3.3/09) and added +550,000 viewers (from 12.52m, +4%) compared to last week.

? CSI: MIAMI was first in households (8.5/14), viewers (13.27m), adults 25-54 (5.0/12), adults 18-49 (4.0/11) and adults 18-34 (2.7/08). CSI: MIAMI was up +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.9/12), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.9/10) compared to last week.

-- CBS was first in households (10.4/17), viewers (16.47m), adults 25-54 (5.0/12) for the fourth consecutive Tuesday and second in adults 18-49 (3.6/10, -0.2 behind FOX's "Hell's Kitchen" finale). CBS won every half-hour in viewers and adults 25-54 Tuesday, also for the fourth consecutive week.

? NCIS won its time slot in households (12.9/20), viewers (21.04m), adults 25-54 (6.4/16) and adults 18-49 (4.5/13) for the fourth consecutive week. Compared to last week, NCIS was up +7% in adults 25-54 (from 6.0/15), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 4.3/12) and added +340,000 viewers (from 20.70m, +2%).

? NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in households (9.7/15), viewers (15.38m) and adults 25-54 (4.8/11) � all for the fourth consecutive week � and averaged a 3.5/09 in adults 18-49.

? THE GOOD WIFE was first in households (8.7/15), viewers (12.98m), adults 25-54 (3.8/10) and adults 18-49 (2.8/08) for the fourth consecutive week.

-- Wednesday, CBS was first in households (7.3/12), viewers (11.42m), adults 25-54 (4.0/10) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (3.1/09, with FOX). CBS placed first in these measures every Wednesday this season.

? THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.8/08, with FOX), second in both households (4.6/08) and adults 18-49 (2.1/07), third in viewers (6.99m). Compared to last week, THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE was up +2% in households (from 4.5/08), +8% in adults 25-54 (from 2.6/07), +11% in adults 18-49 (from 1.9/06) and added +130,000 viewers (from 6.86m, +2%). These were THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE's best deliveries in these measures since its season premiere (Sept. 23, 2009).

? GARY UNMARRIED (4.4/07, 6.91m) was first in adults 25-54 (3.0/08), second in adults 18-49 (2.3/07), tied for second in households (with FOX). Compared to last week, GARY UNMARRIED was up +2% in households (from 4.3/07), +7% in adults 25-54 (from 2.8/07), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 2.2/06) and added 70,000 viewers (from 6.84m, +1%). This was GARY UNMARRIED's best households delivery since May 6, 2009, best adults 25-54 since March 18, 2009, best adults 18-49 since Sept. 23, 2009 and best viewers total since Apr. 8, 2009.

? CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (8.5/13), viewers (13.92m), adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and adults 18-49 (3.8/10) for the fourth consecutive week. Compared to last week, CRIMINAL MINDS was up +6% in adults 18-49 (from 3.6/09). CRIMINAL MINDS was the night's #1 program in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 for the fourth straight week.

? CSI: NY was first in households (8.8/15), viewers (13.40m), adults 25-54 (4.2/11) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09) for the fourth consecutive week.

? SURVIVOR: SAMOA was first in households (7.0/11), viewers (11.78m), adults 25-54 (4.5/12) and adults 18-49 (3.5/10) for the third consecutive week. This is SURVIVOR: SAMOA's largest audience this season. Compared to last week, SURVIVOR: SAMOA was up +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.4/10), even in both households and adults 25-54 and added +90,000 viewers (from 11.69m, +1%).

? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (9.7/15), viewers (15.38m), second in adults 25-54 (5.0/12) and adults 18-49 (3.6/09). Compared to last week, CSI was up +4% in both households (from 9.3/14) and adults 25-54 (from 4.8/11), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.5/09) and added +480,000 viewers (from 14.90m, +3%).

? THE MENTALIST was first in households (9.7/16), viewers (15.08m), adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.5/10). Compared to last week, THE MENTALIST was up +3% in households (from 9.4/16), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 4.6/12), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 3.3/09) and added +380,000 viewers (from 14.70m, +3%).

? NUMB3RS was second in households (5.1/09) and viewers (8.01m). Compared to last week, NUMB3RS was up +4% in both households (from 4.9/09) and adults 25-54 (2.4/07 from 2.3/06), +13% in adults 18-49 (1.8/06 from 1.6/05) and added +670,000 viewers (from 7.34m, +9%).

? THE AMAZING RACE 15 (9:15-10:15PM) delivered a 6.4/10 in households, 10.92m viewers, 4.1/09 in adults 25-54, 3.3/08 in adults 18-49 and 2.0/05 in adults 18-34. This was a season-high for THE AMAZING RACE 15 in both households and viewers, best delivery in adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 since the two-hour season premiere on September 27, 2009.

? THREE RIVERS (10:15-11:15PM) posted a 5.0/09 in households, 7.83m in viewers, 2.4/06 in adults 25-54 and 1.9/05 in adults 18-49 at 10PM. Compared to last week (with a 9:43PM start time), THREE RIVERS was up +6% in households (from 4.7/07), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 2.3/05), +12% in adults 18-49 (from 1.7/04) and added +500,000 viewers (from 7.33m, +7%).
