CBS's comedy power hour of TWO AND A HALF MEN and THE BIG BANG THEORY delivered season- and series-high ratings respectively, leading the Network to a Monday win with its best nightly deliveries of the season in all key ratings measures, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Feb. 8.
HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (6.2/09, 10.11m) was second in adults 25-54 (4.5/11), adults 18-49 (3.8/10) and adults 18-34 (3.3/10). HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER matched a season high in households and posted the season's second-best delivery in both viewers and adults 25-54.
ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE (5.7/08, 9.23m) averaged a 4.2/09 in adults 25-54 and 3.4/08 in adults 18-49. ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE posted its best households and adults 25-54 deliveries and scored its second-best performances in both viewers and adults 18-49.
TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (10.5/15), viewers (17.56m), adults 25-54 (7.1/15) and adults 18-49 (5.7/13). TWO AND A HALF MEN delivered its best households, viewers and adults 25-54 performances since Dec. 15, 2008, and best adults 18-49 delivery since Feb. 5, 2007.
THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in households (9.6/14), viewers (16.20m), adults 25-54 (7.1/15) and adults 18-49 (6.0/14)�all series highs.
CSI: MIAMI was first in households (8.7/14), viewers (13.46m), adults 25-54 (5.0/12) and adults 18-49 (3.9/10). Compared to last week, CSI: MIAMI was up +2% in households (from 8.5/15), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 4.8/12), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 3.7/10) and added +20,000 viewers (from 13.44m).
For the night, CBS was first in households (8.2/13), viewers (13.34m), adults 25-4 (5.5/13) and adults 18-49 (4.4/11)�all season-highs for Monday in these measures.
In late night, LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN (with Super Bowl MVP Drew Brees, Sandra Bullock and the unveiling of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover) delivered a 4.5/11 in the 55 metered markets, the show's second-highest rating of the season (behind President Barack Obama's appearance on 9/21/09).
THE LATE LATE SHOW with CRAIG FERGUSON, with guests Pierce Brosnan and Patty Griffin, delivered a 2.1/07 in the metered markets, its second-highest rated telecast of the season (also behind premiere week Monday on 9/21/09).
