JIMMY FALLON DELIVERS BIGGER AUDIENCES THAN 'LATE LATE SHOW' IN ALL KEY CATEGORIES, WITH JIMMY'S SECOND-BIGGEST 18-49 AND TOTAL-VIEWER AUDIENCES OF THE SEASON

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - March 11, 2010 - NBC's late-night lineup has won the week of March 1-5 in adults 18-49 and total viewers over all cable and broadcast competition, as "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" outscored CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" and ABC's combination of "Nightline" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in every key ratings category: adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, as well as total viewers. At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" also delivered bigger audiences than CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" in all key ratings categories.

In his first week back as host of "Tonight," Jay Leno took the week over "Late Show" by a margin of 49 percent in 18-49 viewers and by 53 percent in total viewers. Jay won five of five nights in both categories.

At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" was #1 on five of five nights in adult 18-49 rating versus "Late Late Show," including one tie. For the week, Jimmy delivered his second-biggest 18-49 and total-viewer audiences of the season, behind only his results for the week of January 18-22.

At 1:35 a.m. ET, "Last Call with Carson Daly" generated its second-biggest overall audience of the season, 1.0 million viewers, behind only its 1.1 million viewers for the week of January 18-22.

For the week of March 1-5, Jay's average 1.949 million adults 18-49 outscored Letterman's 1.305; in total viewers, Jay's audience of 5.585 million persons beat Letterman's 3.661 million; and in adults 18-34, Jay's 721,000 topped Letterman's 488,000. At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon's 916,000 adults 18-49 for the week topped Ferguson's 754,000; in total viewers, Jimmy's 1.949 million finished behind Ferguson's 1.802 million; and in adults 18-34, Jimmy's 382,000 out-delivered Ferguson's 297,000.
