NATIONAL NIELSEN RATINGS FOR THE WEEK OF APRIL 19 - 25, 2010

GLEE AND GIVING PUT FOX ON TOP

Last week, FOX topped its competition with stellar performances by GLEE, AMERICAN IDOL, and the philanthropic special, IDOL GIVES BACK, which has raised over $45 million and counting for various charities worldwide. FOX won the week across key demos with an overall rating of 3.2/10 and remains the No.1 network of the season, with a +16% advantage over its closest competitor.

FOX's Tuesday night lineup of AMERICAN IDOL and GLEE once again outshined its competition, winning the night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key demos. In fact, FOX outperformed its nearest competition for the night by +91% among Adults 18-49, +120% among Adults 18-34, +255% among Teens and +69% in Total Viewers.

In its first one-hour performance show, the Top 7 Finalists on AMERICAN IDOL posted a 6.9/20 among Adults 18-49 and dominated its 8p hour among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key demos.

AMERICAN IDOL showed advantages over its nearest competitors in the hour of +130% among Adults 18-49, +155% among Adults 18-34, +217% among Teens and +45% in Total Viewers.

Tuesday's AMERICAN IDOL's performance show outperformed ABC's Dancing With The Stars' performance show on Monday among Adults 18-49 by +44%.

Week two of GLEE's Spring return posted a 5.3/13 among Adults 18-49 and achieved its second highest-rated telecast to date among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 and most key demos.

GLEE is currently ranked at No. 1 for the highest rated new scripted series of the season among Adults 18-49 and is the highest rated new scripted series of the season among Adults 18-34.

Compared to the previous week's spring debut, GLEE showed retention of 95% among Adults 18-49, 91% in Adults 18-34, and 95% in Total Viewers, while retaining 100% of its Teen audience.

Wednesday night featured the star-studded two-hour AMERICAN IDOL: IDOL GIVES BACK special, which delivered a 5.9/17 and won the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens, Total Viewers and all key demos. AMERICAN IDOL: IDOL GIVES BACK showed an advantage of +228% over the next highest-rated network among Adults 18-49, +214% among Adults 18-34, +471% among Teens and +181% among Total Viewers.

Season-To-Date

Compared to the same weeks of the 08/09 season (9/22/08-4/26/09), FOX is up +3% among Adults 18-49 (3.7/10 vs. 3.6/10) and up +2% among Total Viewers (10.0 vs. 9.8 Mil). Among Adults 18-49: CBS and The CW are even and ABC (-7%) and NBC (-3%) are down.
