DISCOVERY CHANNEL IS #1 ON TUESDAY NIGHT
-- For 9th Consecutive Week, DEADLIEST CATCH Smashes Ratings --
On the strength of back-to-back episodes of DEADLIEST CATCH on Tuesday, June 8, Discovery Channel was the #1 network in delivery among all cable networks during primetime, among P/M25-54 and P/M18-49 (no exclusions). Discovery was the #2 network in all of cable Tuesday evening among W25-54; it was #4 among HH, P2+ and W18-49.
The 9PM DEADLIEST CATCH premiere earned a 2.39 HH / 2.08 P25-54 AA%, making it the #1 primetime cable program (no exclusions) for P/M/W25-54, P/M18-49, P2+ and P18+ delivery. The episode pulled in more viewers in key demos than ABC, CBS and NBC on Tuesday night. The 10PM telecast of DEADLIEST CATCH also ranked in the top 10 for delivery among key demos on Tuesday evening: M25-54 (#3), P25-54 (#7), and M18-49 (#7).
DEADLIEST CATCH has now been the #1 non-sports program in primetime cable for nine consecutive Tuesdays, among P/M25-54 delivery.
An all-new episode of DEADLIEST CATCH premieres Tuesday, June 15 at 9PM, with the premiere of AFTER THE CATCH immediately following at 10PM.
