CBS WINS VIEWERS FOR 11TH STRAIGHT WEEK

"Big Brother" Wednesday is #1 Program for the Week in Adults 18-34

All Three "Big Brother" Episodes Place in Top 10 among Key Demographics

"Big Bang Theory" and "Two and Half Men" Are Week's Top-Scripted Series in Viewers; Top 5 for Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49

CBS was first in viewers for the 11th consecutive week, first in adults 25-54 and tied for second in adults 18-49 led by all three editions of BIG BROTHER and television's top two comedies, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Sept. 5, week 50 of the 2009-2010 television year.

In viewers, TWO AND A HALF MEN was the week's #1 scripted series. THE BIG BANG THEORY and TWO AND A HALF MEN were the week's top scripted series in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49, landing in the top 5 in both demos.

CBS had nine of the top 10 scripted series for the sixth consecutive week: TWO AND A HALF MEN; THE BIG BANG THEORY; NCIS; NCIS: LOS ANGELES; CRIMINAL MINDS; CSI: MIAMI; CSI: NY; FLASHPOINT and RULES OF ENGAGEMENT.

Episodes of BIG BROTHER on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday were all top 10 performers in adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34. Wednesday's BIG BROTHER was the week's #1 program in adults 18-34.

CBS had seven of the week's top 10 programs (TWO AND A HALF MEN; THE BIG BANG THEORY; NCIS; BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY, NCIS: LOS ANGELES; BIG BROTHER 12 SUNDAY and 60 MINUTES) and 12 of the week's top 20 (BIG BROTHER THURSDAY; CRIMINAL MINDS; CSI; MIAMI; CSI: NY and FLASHPOINT). CBS had at least half of the top 20 for the 11th week in a row, and at least five of the top 10 programs for the 9th time in 11 weeks.

CBS was first in adults 25-54 (1.8/05) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (1.3/04, with both NBC and FOX, -0.1 behind ABC) for the week.

Among viewers, CBS was first or second six nights out of seven for the third consecutive week. CBS was first on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, second on Tuesday and Wednesday. For the week in viewers, CBS (5.71m) beat NBC (5.18m), ABC (4.65m) and FOX (3.62m). Summer-to-date in viewers, CBS (6.41m) leads ABC (5.68m), NBC (5.53m), FOX (5.09m) and CW (1.01m).

CBS Weekly Highlights:

? On Monday, CBS was first in households (4.4/07), viewers (6.85m), adults 25-54 (2.6/07) and adults 18-49 (2.0/06) for the third consecutive week. TWO AND A HALF MEN (R) (9:00-9:31 PM) was first in households (5.9/09), viewers (9.14m), adults 25-54 (3.5/09) and adults 18-49 (2.6/07). TWO AND A HALF MEN was the night's #1 program in both households and viewers.

? THE BIG BANG THEORY (R) (9:31-10:01 PM) was first in households (5.7/09), viewers (8.92m), adults 25-54 (3.6/09) and adults 18-49 (2.8/08). THE BIG BANG THEORY was Monday night's #1 program in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

? On Wednesday, BIG BROTHER was first in households (4.7/08), viewers (7.87m), adults 25-54 (3.4/10), adults 18-49 (2.9/10) and adults 18-34 (2.7/10). BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY posted its best delivery on any night in adults 25-54 since Sept. 15, 2009 (BIG BROTHER 11 finale), its best in adults 18-49 since Aug. 18, 2009, and best in adults 18-34 since Sept. 18, 2007 (BIG BROTHER 8 finale). Versus the comparable broadcast last year (on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 9:01 PM), BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was up +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.2/10), +12% in adults 18-49 (from 2.6/07), +23% in adults 18-34 (from 2.2/07), even in households and added +50,000 viewers (from 7.82m, +1%). BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was the night's top-rated program in both adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 (tied with "America's Got Talent" as the top-rated program in adults 25-54).

? On Thursday, CBS was first in households (3.5/06), viewers (5.30m), adults 25-54 (1.7/05) and adults 18-49 (1.4/04). BIG BROTHER THURSDAY (8:00-9:00 PM) was first in households (4.0/07), viewers (6.54m), adults 25-54 (2.6/08), adults 18-49 (2.3/07) and adults 18-34 (2.0/07). BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was the night's top program in households, viewers and adults 25-54.

? On Sunday, CBS was first in households (3.5/07), viewers (5.67m) and adults 25-54 (1.7/05); it was second in adults 18-49 (1.3/05, -0.1 behind FOX). 60 MINUTES (R) was first in households (4.7/10), viewers (7.05m) and adults 25-54 (1.2/05).

? BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was first in households (4.1/08), viewers (7.19m), adults 25-54 (2.8/09), adults 18-49 (2.4/09) and adults 18-34 (2.0/08). Compared to the same night last year, BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was up +14% in households (from 3.6/07), +17% in adults 25-54 (from 2.4/08), +26% in adults 18-49 (from 1.9/07), +33% in adults 18-34 (from 1.5/06) and added +1.18m viewers (from 6.01m, +20%). BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was Sunday's #1 program in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

? Last week, BIG BROTHER on CBS.com attracted more than 5.2 million page views, +28% more than the same week last summer. The average visitor spent 11.5 minutes per session, +33% greater than a year ago. In terms of video streaming, BIG BROTHER attracted over 1.2 million total streams last week, +14% more than 2009, with full episode views accounting for over half of all streams.
