Led by "Ncis," CBS Has Top Six Scripted Programs of the Week
CBS spins the numbers for the week of September 6-12.

LED BY "NCIS," CBS HAS TOP SIX SCRIPTED PROGRAMS OF THE WEEK

All Three Editions of "Big Brother" Place in the Top 20 Among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Adults 25-54

CBS had the top six scripted programs of the week led by NCIS while all three editions of BIG BROTHER placed in the top 20 in key adult demographics, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Sept. 12, week 51 of the 2009-2010 television year.

CBS had the top six scripted series: NCIS; NCIS: LOS ANGELES; TWO AND A HALF MEN SPECIAL; THE BIG BANG THEORY SPECIAL; CRIMINAL MINDS and THE MENTALIST.

CBS also had 10 of the week's top 20 overall programs: NCIS; 60 MINUTES; NCIS: LOS ANGELES; TWO AND A HALF MEN SPECIAL; BIG BROTHER THURSDAY; BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY; THE BIG BANG THEORY SPECIAL; CRIMINAL MINDS; BIG BROTHER SUNDAY and THE MENTALIST.

Meanwhile, BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY and SUNDAY all placed in the top 20 in adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.

For the week in viewers: CBS (6.09m), football-driven NBC (11.41m), FOX (5.76m) and ABC (4.77m). Summer-to-date among viewers, CBS (6.40m) leads NBC (5.92m), ABC (5.64m) and FOX (5.15m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS averaged a 1.8/05 in adults 25-54 and 1.4/04 in adults 18-49.

For the week in households: CBS (3.9/07), NBC (7.0/12), FOX (3.5/06) and ABC (3.0/05). Summer-to-date in households, CBS is first (4.2/07), ahead of NBC (3.7/07), ABC (3.5/06) and FOX (3.1/06).

BIG BROTHER

? BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was first in households (4.6/08), viewers (7.82m), adults 25-54 (3.2/09), adults 18-49 (2.7/09) and adults 18-34 (2.5/09). Versus the comparable broadcast last year (on Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 9:01 PM), BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was up +4% in adults 18-34 (from 2.4/08) and even in adults 18-49. BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY tied with "Masterchef" as the night's top-rated program in adults 18-34.

? BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was second in households (4.6/08), viewers (7.83m), adults 25-54 (3.2/09), adults 18-49 (2.6/08) and adults 18-34 (2.2/07). Compared to last week's broadcast (which had low coverage due to pre-season football), BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was up +15% in households (from 4.0/07), +23% in adults 25-54 (from 2.6/08), +13% in adults 18-49 (from 2.3/07), +10% in adults 18-34 (from 2.0/07) and added +1.29m viewers (from 6.54m, +20%).

? BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was second in households (3.9/06), viewers (6.66m) and adults 25-54 (2.7/06); it was third in both adults 18-49 (2.2/06) and adults 18-34 (1.8/05). Compared to the same night last year, BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was up +4% in adults 25-54 (from 2.6/06), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 2.1/05), +13% in adults 18-34 (from 1.6/04) and added +50,000 viewers (from 6.61m, +1%).
