CBS's series premieres of HAWAII FIVE-0 and MIKE & MOLLY were Monday's top two new programs in viewers and key demographics while the season premiere of TWO AND A HALF MEN was the night's #1 scripted program in viewers and demos, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Sept. 20, the first night of 2010-2011 television season.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (P) (5.3/08, 8.78m) was second in adults 18-34 (3.5/11, -0.2 behind FOX) and averaged a 3.9/10 in adults 25-54 and 3.6/10 in adults 18-49. Compared to last year's season premiere, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was up +6% in adults 18-34 (from 3.3/09) and even in adults 18-49.

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (P) (5.1/08, 8.33m) averaged a 3.8/09 in adults 25-54 and 3.1/08 in adults 18-49.

At 9:00 PM, TWO AND A HALF MEN (P) was second in households (8.9/13), viewers (14.50m), adults 25-54 (6.0/14) and adults 18-49 (4.8/12). TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +5% in both households (from 8.5/12) and adults 25-54 (from 5.7/12), +7% in adults 18-49 (from 4.5/10) and added +860,0000 viewers (from 13.64m, +6%) compared to last year's season premiere. TWO AND A HALF MEN was the night's #1 scripted program in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

The series premiere of MIKE AND MOLLY (P) was second in households (7.6/11), viewers (12.24m) and adults 25-54 (5.1/11) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (3.9/10, with NBC). MIKE AND MOLLY was the night's #1 new program in adults 18-49, tied for first in adults 25-54 (with HAWAII FIVE-0) and second behind HAWAII FIVE-0 in viewers.

At 10:00 PM, the series premiere of HAWAII FIVE-0 (P) won its time slot in households (8.6/14), viewers (13.83m), adults 25-54 (5.1/13) and adults 18-49 (3.8/10). HAWAII FIVE-0 was the night's #1 new program in households and viewers, tied with MIKE AND MOLLY as the #1 new program in adults 25-54 and #2 behind MIKE AND MOLLY in adults 18-49.

For the night, CBS was second in households (7.4/11), viewers (11.92m), adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and adults 18-49 (3.8/10).

At 10:00 PM, the series premiere of HAWAII FIVE-0 (P) won its time slot in households (8.9/15), viewers (14.20m), adults 25-54 (5.3/13) and adults 18-49 (3.9/11). HAWAII FIVE-0 was the night's #1 new program in households, viewers and adults 25-54; it was tied with MIKE & MOLLY as the #1 new program in adults 18-49.

CBS will rebroadcast the HAWAII FIVE-0 premiere on Saturday, Sept. 25 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT).
