CBS's PREMIERE SUNDAY POSTS ACROSS-THE-BOARD INCREASES VERSUS LAST YEAR
Reality Rising: The Premiere of "The Amazing Race" Posts Gains Over Last Fall and Winter Premieres
In its First Fall Broadcast, "Undercover Boss" Boosts Year-Ago Time Period
CBS's premiere Sunday posted across-the-board increases versus a year ago led by NFL football overrun, 60 MINUTES and two reality series�THE AMAZING RACE, which topped last fall and winter's premieres, and the fall premiere of UNDERCOVER BOSS, which boosted the year ago time period, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Sept. 26.

From 8:00-9:00 PM, 60 MINUTES (P) was second behind NBC's football in households (8.6/14), viewers (13.94m), adults 25-54 (4.3/10) and averaged a 3.2/08 in adults 18-49. Note: The 60 MINTUES average includes 13 minutes of THE AMAZING RACE.
From 9:00-10:30 PM, THE AMAZING RACE 17 (P) (6.3/10, 11.12m) averaged a 4.5/10 in adults 25-54 and 3.7/09 in adults 18-49. Compared to last fall's premiere (two-hours), THE AMAZING RACE was up +2% in households (from 6.2/10), +10% in adults 25-54 (from 4.1/09), +9% in adults 18-49 (from 3.4/08) and added +710,000 viewers (from 10.41m, +7%). Compared to the winter premiere (one hour on Feb. 14, 2010), THE AMAZING RACE was up +24% in households (from 5.1/08), +32% in both adults 25-54 (from 3.4/08) and adults 18-49 (from 2.8/07) and added +2.11m viewers (from 9.01m, +23%). Note: THE AMAZING RACE average includes 13 minutes of UNDERCOVER BOSS.
At 10:30 PM, UNDERCOVER BOSS (P) was second in households (6.7/12), viewers (10.90m), adults 25-54 (4.5/11) and adults 18-49 (3.6/10). Compared to the time period programming on the same night last year ("Cold Case" from 10:14-11:14 PM), UNDERCOVER BOSS was up +10% in households (from 6.1/11), +67% in adults 25-54 (from 2.7/07), +71% in adults 18-49 (from 2.1/06) and added +1.70m viewers (from 9.20m viewers, +19%).
For the night, CBS was second in households (8.0/13), viewers (13.27m), adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and adults 18-49 (3.9/10). Compared to premiere Sunday last year, CBS was up +8% in households, +17% in adults 25-54, +18% in adults 18-49 and +12% in viewers.
