CBS Sweeps Wednesday in Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 for the Second Consecutive Week

"Survivor: Nicaragua" Wins Its New Time Period in all Key Measures for the Third Straight Week

"Criminal Minds" is the Night's #1 Program in Viewers

"The Defenders" in Photo Finish Among Viewers Against the Highly Promoted Premiere of "Law & Order: Los Angeles"

CBS won Wednesday in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the second consecutive week as SURVIVOR: NICARAGUA won its new time period in all key measures and CRIMINAL MINDS was the night's #1 program in viewers, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Sept. 29.

SURVIVOR: NICARAGUA was first in households (7.1/12), viewers (12.16m), adults 25-54 (4.6/13) and adults 18-49 (3.4/11). CBS swept this time slot for the third consecutive week.

At 9:00 PM, CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (8.8/14) and viewers (14.41m), adults 25-54 (4.7/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.6/10, -0.1 behind ABC). Compared to last week's season premiere, CRIMINAL MINDS added +280,000 viewers (from 14.13m, +2%). CRIMINAL MINDS was the night's #1 program in households and viewers.

At 10:00 PM, THE DEFENDERS was in a photo finish among viewers (10.38m) against the highly promoted premiere of "Law & Order: Los Angeles" (10.52m). THE DEFENDERS retained 85% of its premiere week viewer delivery and 86% of its adult 18-49 rating (2.5/08 from 2.9/08).

For the night, CBS was first in households (7.5/13), viewers (12.32m), adults 25-54 (4.3/12) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09) for the second Wednesday so far this season.

At 9:00 PM, CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (8.9/14) and viewers (14.57m), adults 25-54 (4.8/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.6/10, -0.1 behind ABC). Compared to last week's season premiere, CRIMINAL MINDS added +440,000 viewers (from 14.13m, +3%). CRIMINAL MINDS was the night's #1 program in households and viewers.

At 10:00 PM, THE DEFENDERS was in a photo finish among viewers (10.41m) against the highly promoted premiere of "Law & Order: Los Angeles" (10.64m). THE DEFENDERS retained 86% of its premiere week delivery with viewers and adult 18-49 rating (2.5/08 from 2.9/08).

For the night, CBS was first in households (7.5/13), viewers (12.41m), adults 25-54 (4.3/12) and adults 18-49 (3.2/10) for the second Wednesday so far this season.
