NBC.COM RANKS #1 AMONG COMPETITIVE BROADCAST NETWORK WEBSITES FOR THIRD QUARTER AND THE FIRST MONTH OF THE 2010-11 SEASON

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - October 19, 2010 - Once again, fans have made NBC.com the #1 website versus competitive broadcast network sites in monthly averages of unique visitors (7.3 million) during the third quarter of 2010, according to the key industry source comScore.

In addition, NBC.com kicked off the start of the new season besting its competitors among unique visitors (10.8 million in data provided by comScore). Fans came to NBC.com in September to watch full episodes of their favorite NBC programs and to engage with new digital content such as "SNL: Digital Shorts Site," "The Event: Truth Seeker Blog," "Chuck: Interactive Desk," "Chase: Most Wanted," "Undercovers: Bloom Catering Recipe of the Week," "The Office: Schrute Space" and "Outsourced: Mid-American Novelties."

"Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" topped NBC.com's September offerings with "The History of Rap" clip featuring Justin Timberlake garnering half a million views in less than 24 hours and to date has delivered 1.7 million streams.

During the first two weeks of the 2010-11 season, unique visitors to NBC.com were up three percent compared to last year while short-form streams (7.2 million) grew 6 percent and widget streams grew 15 percent (2.3 million).

In September, full episodes of "Community" showed the biggest growth online year-to-year by moving up 30 percent compared to its premiere season last year. Likewise, "Parenthood" is delivering 29 percent more full episode streams in its second season.

Additionally, mobile short-form video broke a record in September 2010 with 455,000 streams, which was up 147 percent versus September 2009 and up 47 percent versus August 2010; mobile streams were driven by "The Office" (22 percent of total), "America's Got Talent" (13 percent) and "Saturday Night Live" (10 percent).

The data was provided according to the key industry sources comScore Media Metrix and Omniture.
