NCIS posted a series-high 22.85 million viewers, THE BIG BANG THEORY was the #1 comedy in viewers and demos while THE DEFENDERS got off to a solid start in its new Friday time period in Super Bowl week, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Feb. 6, week 20 of the 2010-2011 season.

CBS had eight of the top 10 scripted programs in Week #20 with NCIS, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, THE MENTALIST, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, THE BIG BANG THEORY, THE GOOD WIFE, BLUE BLOODS and TWO AND A HALF MEN (R).

For the week in viewers: CBS (9.28m), trailed a Super Bowl-driven FOX (32.12m), and finished ahead of NBC (6.03m) and ABC (5.77m). Season-to-date: CBS (11.94m), FOX (9.37m), ABC (8.33m) and NBC (7.80m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in adults 25-54 (2.8/07) and adults 18-49 (1.9/05). Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.0/10) and second in adults 18-49 (3.0/08).

For the week in households: CBS (5.7/09), FOX (14.4/23), NBC (3.7/06) and ABC (3.6/06). Season-to-date: CBS (7.2/12), FOX (5.3/09), ABC (5.2/09) and NBC (4.8/08).

CBS's Weekly Highlights:

-- On Tuesday, CBS was first in households (10.5/16), viewers (17.56m), adults 25-54 (5.0/12) and adults 18-49 (3.5/09) for the third Tuesday in four weeks. CBS delivered its largest Tuesday audience since Jan. 5, 2010, and best adults 25-54 rating since Feb. 9, 2010.

? NCIS was first in households (13.2/20), viewers (22.85m), adults 25-54 (6.5/16) and adults 18-49 (4.6/12). NCIS posted series highs in both households and viewers, matched series highs in adults 25-54 (with Sept. 22, 2009 and Oct. 20, 2009) and posted its best delivery in adults 18-49 since Oct. 20, 2009. NCIS beat NBC, ABC, FOX and CW combined in viewers (22.85m vs. 20.37m, +12%). NCIS was the night's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

? NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in households (10.4/16), viewers (17.70m), adults 25-54 (5.2/12) and adults 18-49 (3.8/09). NCIS: LOS ANGELES posted its best delivery in adults 25-54 since Feb. 9, 2010, and its best adults 18-49 performance since Oct. 19, 2010.

? THE GOOD WIFE was first in households (7.7/13), viewers (12.14m) and adults 25-54 (3.2/08); it was tied for first in adults 18-49 (2.2/06, with NBC).

? In the third of its four Wednesday broadcasts, BLUE BLOODS won its time slot in households (7.1/12) and viewers (11.31m), placing second in adults 25-54 (2.6/07).

? THE BIG BANG THEORY was second in households (8.0/13), viewers (13.83m), adults 25-54 (5.6/14) and adults 18-49 (4.3/12). Compared to the last first-run episode (on Jan. 20, 2011), THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +2% in both adults 25-54 (from 5.5/14) and adults 18-49 (from 4.2/12) and added +200,000 viewers (from 13.63m, +1%).

? $#*! MY DAD SAYS was second in households (6.2/10), viewers (10.45m), adults 25-54 (4.0/09) and adults 18-49 (2.8/07). Compared to last week, $#*! MY DAD SAYS was up +15% in households (from 5.4/08), +21% in adults 25-54 (from 3.3/08), +22% in adults 18-49 (from 2.3/06) and added +1.71m viewers (from 8.74m, +20%).

? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (8.4/13) and viewers (13.98m) and second in adults 25-54 (4.3/10).

? THE MENTALIST was first in households (9.2/16), viewers (15.18m), adults 25-54 (4.2/11) and adults 18-49 (2.9/08). Compared to the last first-run episode (on January 20th), THE MENTALIST was up +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.8/08), even in both households and adults 25-54 and added +360,000 viewers (from 14.82m, +2%).

-- On Friday, CBS was first in households (5.5/09), viewers (9.19m), adults 25-54 (2.6/07) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (1.7/05, with both NBC and FOX).

? THE DEFENDERS (P) was first in households (5.4/09), viewers (8.71m), adults 25-54 (2.1/06) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (1.3/04, with NBC). Compared to the time period's live plus same day first-run delivery ("Medium"), THE DEFENDERS was up +26% in households (from 4.3/08), +5% in adults 25-54 (from 2.0/06) and added +2.04m viewers (from 6.67m, +31%).

? SUPER BOWL'S GREATEST COMMERCIALS (S) was first in households (5.4/09), viewers (9.56m), adults 25-54 (3.0/08) and adults 18-49 (2.0/06). SUPER BOWL'S GREATEST COMMERCIALS was the night's #1 program in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

? CSI: NY was second in household (5.6/10), viewers (9.317m, -0.003m behind NBC), adults 25-54 (2.8/08, -0.2 behind NBC) and adults 18-49 (1.9/06, -0.2 behind NBC).
