"The Late Late Show" Finishes Ahead of "Late Night" in Viewers and Ties in Adults 18-34 and Adults 25-54
CBS's LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN topped "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" in adults 18-34 for the second consecutive week and tied in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending April 1.
LATE SHOW posted a 2.4/06 in households with an average of 3.43m viewers, up +4% in households (from 2.3/06) and +7% in viewers (from 3.19m) compared to the same week last year. LATE SHOW was even in adults 25-54 (1.2/05), adults 18-49 (0.9/04) and adults 18-34 (0.6/02) compared to the same week last year.
LATE SHOW beat "The Tonight Show" in adults 18-34 (0.6/02 vs. 0.5/02) for the second consecutive week and tied "Tonight" in both adults 25-54 (1.2/05, each) and adults 18-49 (0.9/04, each).
THE LATE LATE SHOW WITH CRAIG FERGUSON delivered a 1.2/04 in households with 1.64m viewers. THE LATE LATE SHOW was even in adults 25-54 (0.7/04), adults 18-49 (0.5/03) and adults 18-34 (0.4/02) compared to the same week last year.
THE LATE LATE SHOW beat "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" in viewers (1.64m vs. 1.63m) and tied adults 25-54 (0.7/04, each) and adults 18-34 (0.4/02, each).
