NICKELODEON NABS BASIC CABLE'S TOP SPOT FOR THE WEEK

Victorious is Week's Top Series Telecast with Kids, Scores Almost 4 Million Viewers;

Supah Ninjas Premiere Bows with 3 Million Viewers

NEW YORK - April 19, 2011 - Nickelodeon closes the week (4/11/11-4/17/11) as basic cable's top total day network with total viewers (2.2 million), kids 2-11 (3.3/1.2 million) and kids 2-5 (4.3/607,000). The net's weekly win was fueled by the Saturday-night premieres of a new episode of Victorious at 8 p.m. (all times ET/PT) and the new live-action series Supah Ninjas following at 8:30 p.m.

A new episode of Victorious "Beck Falls for Tori," drew 3.9 million total viewers and ranks as basic cable's top series telecast with kids 2-11 and kids 6-11 for the week. "Becks Falls for Tori" averaged a 5.7/2.0 million K2-11, 8.0/1.7 million K6-11, and 7.0/1.5 million T9-14 and bested its closest competitor by double- and triple-digits with total viewers (+112%), kids 2-11 (+97%), kids 6-11 (+111%) and tweens 9-14 (+133%). In Victorious: "Beck Falls for Tori," Tori lands a role as a stunt double after exaggerating on her resume. When she finds out she has to fall off a building, it's up to the Hollywood Arts gang to save the day.

Supah Ninjas bowed with 3.1 million total viewers and was the number-one program in time period (8:30 p.m.) across all TV with its target kid and tween demos. The half-hour episode also posted double-digit increases over last year's like time period, averaging a 4.8/1.7 million K2-11 (+37%), 6.3/1.4 million K6-11 (+37%), 5.0/1.1 million T9-14 (+35%). The premiere also bested its closest competitor by double-digits with total viewers (+42%), kids 2-11 (+45%), kids 6-11 (+37%) and tweens 9-14 (+39%). In the premiere episode "Katara," Katherine Sharp is a seemingly klutzy bookish-type who is actually a knife-throwing cat burglar obsessed with stealing priceless Egyptian statues. While the Ninjas are on to her, she'll stop at nothing to get what she wants.

Bubble Guppies and Team Umizoomi also rank as the week's top two preschool series on all TV respectively, and SpongeBob SquarePants and T.U.F.F. Puppy are the top two animated series on broadcast and basic cable with kids 2-11 and kids 6-11.

Nickelodeon, now in its 32nd year, is the number-one entertainment brand for kids. It has built a diverse, global business by putting kids first in everything it does. The company includes television programming and production in the United States and around the world, plus consumer products, online, recreation, books, and feature films. Nickelodeon's U.S. television network is seen in more than 100 million households and has been the number-one-rated basic cable network for 16 consecutive years.
