"DEADLIEST CATCH" RATINGS CONTINUE STRONG: SERIES IS #1 PRIMETIME CABLE PROGRAM THIRD WEEK IN A ROW
The Tuesday, April 26 9PM ET/PT episode of Discovery Channel's DEADLIEST CATCH, Old Age and Treachery earned a 2.52 HH / 2.20 P25-54 AA%, delivering over 3.58 million viewers P2+. The series was the #1 primetime cable telecast among HH, P2+, P18+, P/M/W25-54 and P/M18-49 ratings and delivery (excluding the NBA playoffs on TNT) for the third week in a row.
DEADLIEST CATCH continues to out-delivered several broadcast programs for Tuesday 4/26/11 prime delivery, including programs on ABC (M25-54, M18-49), CBS (P/M18-49 and M25-54), FOX (M25-54, M18-49) and NBC (M25-54, M18-49).
Additionally, the premiere telecast of the Discovery Channel series HOGS GONE WILD earned a 1.03 HH/ .79 P25-54 AA%, delivering 1.46 million viewers P2+.
Driven by the strong performances from both DEADLIEST CATCH and HOGS GONE WILD, Discovery was the #2 primetime cable network for P/M25-54 and P/M18-49 ratings and delivery (second only to TNT, hosting the NBA Playoffs).
The new seasons of DEADLIEST CATCH and HOGS GONE WILD continue next Tuesday at 9PM ET/PT and 10PM ET/PT on Discovery Channel.
