VIEWERS ROLL OUT THE RED CARPET FOR TLC'S ROYAL WEDDING COVERAGE
TLC's live coverage of the Royal Wedding ceremony (Fri, April 29 from 6 a.m.-7:15 a.m) delivered over 1M P2+ viewers, driving the network to rank #2 in all non-news cable. Additionally, the prime airing of William & Kate: The Royal Wedding Presented by TLC (Fri, April 29 from 8 p.m.-10 p.m.) garnered an average audience of 1.4M P2+ viewers, earning TLC the #1 network for delivery among W18-49 in prime among all ad-supported cable, excluding sports (Fri, April 29).
TLC was the destination for everything Royal Wedding related, with a week full of royally-themed programming - including four specials that delivered 1M or more P2+ viewers* - a live feed of the nuptials broadcast in 30 countries around the world and America's largest viewing party held in Times Square.
TLC's Royal Wedding Week was also crowned king on social media, ranked the #1 cable TV event for the week by Trendrr.tv thanks to creative and engaging activities across Facebook, Twitter and GetGlue.
