FOX WINS FIRST FULL WEEK OF MAY SWEEP

Thanks to week-over-week gains by GLEE, AMERICAN IDOL, BREAKING IN and BONES, FOX won the first full week of the May sweep among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens, and continues to outperform the No. 2 network by more than half of a ratings point (3.5 vs. 2.9 among Adults 18-49). Key highlights from last week include:

· On Tuesday, GLEE and RAISING HOPE gave FOX a strong night among young adults and Teens.

· GLEE delivered a 3.7/11 last Tuesday, up +9% from the previous week. GLEE was the highest rated program of the night in Teens and won the 8p hour in Adults 18-49 (tie), Adults 18-34 and Teens.

· RAISING HOPE followed with a 1.8/5 among Adults 18-49, right in line with its performance the previous week at 9:30p.

· FOX ranked No. 1 on Wednesday night across all key demos and outperformed the next highest-rated competitor (CBS) by +96% among Adults 18-49 and +61% in Total Viewers.

· AMERICAN IDOL posted a 6.6/19 and drew 21.1 million Total Viewers on Wednesday. IDOL was the highest rated program of the night in all key demos, outperforming the next highest rated program by +69% in Adults 18-49 and +64% in Total Viewers.

· Compared to the same telecast last year, AMERICAN IDOL grew +6% in the core adult demo and gained +21% in Total Viewers -- its biggest year-to-year performance show gain so far this season.

· At 9:30pm, BREAKING IN delivered a 2.4/6 among Adults 18-49, even with the previous week among Adults 18-49 and up +1% in Total Viewers (7.1 vs. 7.0 Mil.)

· AMERICAN IDOL and BONES gave FOX another Thursday win, dominating the night across every key demo.

· The AMERICAN IDOL Top 5 Results show posted a 6.3/20 among Adults 18-49, up +11% among Adults 18-49 and +9% in Total Viewers versus the previous Thursday's results show.

· So far this season with Comparable Most Current ratings AMERICAN IDOL retains 95% of its Adults 18-49 audience and is up +2% in Total Viewers versus the same period last season.

· BONES followed with a 3.2/9, up +14% from the previous week in the core adult demo and up +12% in Total Viewers (10.9 vs. 9.7 Mil.)

· In the 9p hour BONES topped an original CSI by a substantial +39% in Adults 18-49 and topped both CSI and Grey's Anatomy among Total Viewers.

· With originals of KITCHEN NIGHTMARES (1.6/6) and FRINGE (1.2/4), FOX ranked No. 1 on Friday among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

Live to Live + 7 DVR highlight

BREAKING IN posted a 2.4/6 among Adults 18-49, even with the previous week in Adults 18-49 and up +1% in Total Viewers (7.1 vs. 7.0 Mil.) BREAKING IN was the #2 program of the night in Teens behind only AMERICAN IDOL.

AMERICAN IDOL was the highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Teens and outperformed the next highest rated programs by +80% in Adults 18-49 (6.3 vs. 3.5 for ABC's Grey's Anatomy and NBC's The Office) and by +52% in Total Viewers (21.3 vs. 14.0 for CBS' The Mentalist).

In the 8p hour AMERICAN IDOL outperformed the next highest rated net by +133% in Adults 18-49 (6.3 vs. 2.7 for CBS) and +134% in Total Viewers (21.3 vs. 9.1 for CBS). AMERICAN IDOL also outperformed the combined 4-net competition in the 8p hour in Total Viewers by +8% (21.3 vs. 19.8 Mil.)

So far this season with Comparable Most Current ratings AMERICAN IDOL retains 95% of last year's same telecasts in A18-49 (8.4/23 vs. 8.8/23, through the Top 5 Results, 5/5/10) and is up +2% in Total Viewers (24.8 vs. 24.2 Mil.).

At 9p BONES posted a 3.2/9, up +14% from the previous week (2.8/7) in Adults 18-49 and was up +12% in Total Viewers (10.9 vs. 9.7 Mil.) BONES ranked #2 in the 9p hour among A18-49 and #1 in Total Viewers and Teens.

In the 9p hour BONES topped an original CSI by a substantial +39% in Adults 18-49 (3.2/9 vs. 2.3/6) and +2% in Total Viewers (10.9 vs. 10.7 Mil.)
