NBC's "The Voice" Drives Weekend Ratings Increases for E!
The following are highlights from this past weekend's performance of The Voice on E!:
· On Saturday, June 4, NBC's hit vocal competition series, The Voice, helped E! deliver its highest-rated and most-watched (.48 HH/566K) Saturday in nearly 18 months.
· The eight-hour marathon of The Voice on Saturday from 3pm-11pm attracted key young viewers to the time period, increasing +52% with Adults 18-34, +41% with Adults 18-49, +37% with Women 18-34 and +27% with Women 18-49 over the prior four week time period norm. Total Viewers saw the largest gain at +63%, growing from half a million to over 800,000. The 9pm run was the highest-rated of the marathon at .73 HH while the 10pm hour was the most watched at over one million viewers.
· Gains across these demos also landed E! among the top 10 ad-supported cable networks for the Saturday 3pm-11pm time period, including 4th among W18-34 viewers, 8th among A18-34 and W18-49 viewers and 10th with A18-49 viewers.
· Additionally, all 13 airings of The Voice over the weekend combined to average a .58 HH rating and nearly 800,000 total viewers, both good enough to over-deliver the network total day average by nearly +60% with HHLDS and almost +80% with total viewers.
