"Big Brother" Delivers Best Thursday Premiere in Viewers and Adults 25-54 since 2005 and Highest Rated in Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 Since 2006

CBS Has the Week's Top Eight Scripted Programs

CBS won the week in viewers behind strong Thursday and Sunday premieres of BIG BROTHER and continued solid rebroadcasts performances of its scripted series, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending July 10.

The premieres of BIG BROTHER THURSDAY and BIG BROTHER SUNDAY swept their time periods in viewers and key demographics. BIG BROTHER posted its best Thursday premiere delivery since 2006 in adults 18-49 and adults 18-34, and its best delivery since 2005 in viewers and adults 25-54. BIG BROTHER notched its best Sunday premiere delivery in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49, and matched its best in adults 18-34.

NCIS, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, BLUE BLOODS, THE BIG BANG THEORY, THE MENTALIST, FLASHPOINT, CSI: NY and CRIMINAL MINDS were the week's top eight scripted programs.

For the week in viewers: CBS (5.85m), NBC (5.80m), ABC (5.15m) and FOX (3.52m). Summer-to-date: CBS (6.224m), NBC (6.216m), ABC (6.09m) and FOX (4.25m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was tied for second in adults 25-54 (1.7/05, with ABC) and averaged 1.3/04 in adults 18-49.

For the week in households: CBS (3.8/07), NBC (3.5/06), ABC (3.2/06) and FOX (2.1/04). Summer-to-date: CBS (4.1/07), ABC (3.8/07), NBC (3.7/07) and FOX (2.6/05).

? BIG BROTHER 13 THURSDAY (P) was first in households (4.7/08), viewers (7.89m), adults 25-54 (3.4/09), adults 18-49 (2.8/08) and adults 18-34 (2.3/08). Compared to the BIG BROTHER 12 THURSDAY premiere at 8:00 PM on the same night last year, CBS was up +7% in households (from 4.4/08), +17% in adults 25-54 (from 2.9/09), +12% in adults 18-49 (from 2.5/09), +5% in adults 18-34 (from 2.2/08) and added +520,000 viewers (from 7.37m, +7%).

-- This is the best delivery for a premiere episode of BIG BROTHER since 2006 in both adults 18-49 and adults 18-34, and since 2005 in both viewers and adults 25-54. BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was the night's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.

? BIG BROTHER 13 SUNDAY (P) was first in households (4.2/07), viewers (7.18m), adults 25-54 (3.0/08), adults 18-49 (2.5/08) and adults 18-34 (2.0/07). Compared to the BIG BROTHER 12 SUNDAY premiere on the same night last year, CBS was up +5% in households (from 4.0/07), +3% in adults 25-54 (from 2.9/08), +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.4/08), even in adults 18-34 and added +130,000 viewers (from 7.05m, +2%).

? BOSTON POPS FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR (S) (10:01-11:00 PM) was first in households (4.0/08) and viewers (6.65m), tied for first in adults 25-54 (1.6/05, with NBC) and second in adults 18-49 (1.1/04). Compared to last year's special (on Sunday, July 4), CBS was up +7% in adults 25-54 (from 1.5/06) and +22% in adults 18-49 (from 0.9/04).

? NCIS (R) was second in households (5.8/10), viewers (8.90m) and adults 25-54 (2.0/06).

? NCIS: LOS ANGELES (R) was second in households (4.5/07) and viewers (7.01m).

? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (R) was first in households (4.7/08), viewers (7.21m), and second in both adults 25-54 (2.0/05) and adults 18-49 (1.5/04). CSI won its time slot for the second straight week in viewers.

? THE BIG BANG THEORY (R) was first in households (4.4/08), viewers (6.79m) and adults 25-54 (2.5/08), and tied for first in adults 18-49 (1.8/07, with ABC).

? THE MENTALIST (R) was first in households (4.3/07), viewers (6.72m), second in adults 25-54 (1.7/05, -0.1 behind ABC) and adults 18-49 (1.2/04).

? FLASHPOINT (R) was first in households (4.1/08), viewers (6.37m) and adults 25-54 (1.7/06) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (1.2/05, with ABC). FLASHPOINT won its time slot in viewers for the 9th straight week. Compared to the last first-run episode on Friday, June 17, FLASHPOINT was up +8% in households (from 3.8/08), +31% in adults 25-54 (from 1.3/05), +50% in adults 18-49 (from 0.8/03) and added +440,000 viewers (from 5.93m, +7%).

? CSI: NY (R) was first in households (3.9/07) and viewers (6.05m) for the 11th straight week.
