The Premiere of "Same Name" Wins Its Time Period in Viewers and Adults 25-54
CBS Wins Sunday in Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54
BIG BROTHER was Sunday's #1 broadcast program in adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and adults 25-54 while the premiere of SAME NAME won its time period in viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for July 24.
From 8:00-9:00 PM, BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was first in households (4.2/7), viewers (6.90m), adults 25-54 (2.9/08), adults 18-49 (2.4/07) and adults 18-34 (2.0/08) for the third consecutive week. Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER 13 SUNDAY was up +2% in households (from 4.1/07), +5% in adults 18-34 (from 1.9/07) and even in adults 18-49 (from 2.4/08).
From 9:00-10:00 PM, the premiere of SAME NAME was first in households (3.2/05), viewers (5.27m) and adults 25-54 (1.9/05); it was second in adults 18-49 (1.5/04, -0.1 behind FOX).
SAME NAME delivered the time period's best performance in adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 since May 15, 2011.
For the night, CBS was first in households (4.0/07), viewers (6.43m), adults 18-49 (1.5/05) and adults 25-54 (2.0/05).
