TUESDAY'S 'AMERICA'S GOT TALENT' IS THE #1 PROGRAM OF THE WEEK IN ADULT 18-49, TOTAL VIEWERS AND VIRTUALLY ALL OTHER KEY MEASURES

NBC TIES FOR #2 FOR THE WEEK AMONG ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX AND CW IN ADULTS 18-49 AND IS #2 OUTRIGHT IN TOTAL VIEWERS

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - August 2, 2011 -Led by the Tuesday and Wednesday editions of "America's Got Talent," which were the #1 and #2 programs of the week in adults 18-49 and total viewers, NBC averaged a 1.3 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 5.0 million viewers overall for the week of July 25-31, according to in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

For the week, NBC tied for #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and ranked #2 outright in total viewers.

Tuesday's two-hour edition of "America's Got Talent" was the #1 program of the week in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54, total viewers and other key measures. Wednesday's "America's Got Talent" results show ranked #2 among all programs in primetime's key demographic of adults 18-49. Also ranking among the top programs of the week in adults 18-49 was "Love In The Wild" (#19, tied).

With 11.5 million and 10.7 million viewers overall respectively, the Tuesday and Wednesday editions of "America's Got Talent" were the #1 and #2 programs of the week in total viewers.

Primetime averages for the week of July 25-31 in adults 18-49 were Fox (1.6/5), ABC, CBS and NBC (1.3/4) and CW (0.3/1). In overall total viewers the weekly averages were CBS (6.0 million), NBC (5.0 million), ABC (4.6 million), Fox (4.1 million) and CW (0.7 million).

NBC highlights for the week of July 25-31:

* "America's Got Talent" delivered the #1 results on television Tuesday night in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures. "America's Got Talent" ranked #1 in its two-hour time period in all key rating categories.

* Versus the same night last year, "America's Got Talent" was up 19 percent in both adults 18-49 and total viewers.

* Also on Tuesday, "It's Worth What?" tied for #2 in the hour among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and was #2 outright among women 18-49.

* NBC tied for #1 Tuesday night in adults 18-49 and ranked #1 outright in adults 25-54, total viewers and other key ratings categories. This marked NBC's seventh consecutive share of the Tuesday lead in adults 18-49 and the ninth week in a row that. NBC has won Tuesday in total viewers.

* On Wednesday, a results show edition of "America's Got Talent" scored the #1 ratings of the night in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures on a competitive night that included CBS's "Big Brother" and Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance."

* Wednesday's "America's Got Talent" won its 9-10 p.m. ET time period with winning margins of 27 percent in adults 18-49 and 78 percent in total viewers.

* Week to week, the Wednesday "America's Got Talent" was up 4 percent in both adults 18-49 and total viewers. Versus the same night last year, the Wednesday "Talent" was up 8 percent in adults 18-49 and 10 percent in total viewers.

* Also on Wednesday, "Love in the Wild" ranked #1 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and all other key demographics.

* On Friday, an encore telecast of "Dateline NBC" reported the #1 rating of the night in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Talent" grew by 33 percent in adults 18-49 and 45 percent or more than 2.0 million persons in total viewers.

* NBC tied for #1 in primetime Friday night among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and ranked #1 outright in adults 25-54.

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

Additional NBC highlights for the week of July 25-31:

On Monday, July 25 from 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" averaged a 1.3 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 5.3 million viewers overall. The Monday "Talent" rebroadcast was up week to week by 8 percent in 18-49 rating (1.3 vs. 1.2).

Monday from 9-9:26 p.m. ET, the network carried news coverage of President Obama's address and the Republican response. This coverage was sustaining and was not included in the nightly or weekly averages.

Monday from 9:26-10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "It's Worth What?" was joined in progress and averaged a 0.8/2 in 18-49 and 3.1 million viewers overall.

At 10 p.m. ET Monday, a rebroadcast of "Harry's Law" delivered a 0.7/2 and 3.7 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its second, "Harry's Law" grew by 14 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.8 from a 0.7) and 14 percent in total viewers (3.943 million vs. 3.466 million).

On Tuesday, July 26 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "It's Worth What?" (1.4/5 in 18-49, 5.4 million viewers overall) tied for #2 in the hour among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and was #2 outright among women 18-49.

Tuesday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (3.1/9 in adults 18-49, 11.5 million viewers overall) delivered the #1 results of the night in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures on a competitive night that included first-run episodes of Fox's "Hell's Kitchen" and "Masterchef," ABC's "101 Ways To leave a Game Show" and "Combat Hospital" and CBS's "48 Hours Mystery."

"America's Got Talent" ranked #1 in its two-hour time period among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in all key rating categories.

Versus the same night last year, "America's Got Talent" was up 19 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 3.1 rating from a 2.6) and 19 percent or 1.9 million persons in total viewers (11.539 million vs. 9.688 million).

NBC tied for #1 for the night in adults 18-49 and ranked #1 outright in adults 25-54, total viewers and other key ratings categories. This marked NBC's seventh consecutive share of the Tuesday lead in adults 18-49. NBC has won nine Tuesdays in a row in total viewers.

On Wednesday, July 27 at 8 p.m. ET, "Minute To Winn It" averaged a 1.2/4 in adults 18-49 and 4.9 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its second, "Minute" ticked off gains in all key ratings categories, including increases of 18 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.3 rating from a 1.1), 23 percent in adults 25-54 (1.6 vs. 1.3) and 17 percent in total viewers (5.2 million vs. 4.5 million).

Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET, a results show edition of "America's Got Talent" (2.8/8 in 18-49, 10.7 million viewers overall) scored the #1 ratings of the night in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures on a competitive night that included CBS's "Big Brother" from 8-9 p.m. and Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" from 8-10 p.m. "Talent" built on its lead-in by 133 percent in 18-49 rating and 121 percent in total viewers.

"America's Got Talent" won its time period in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and other key measures. The "Talent" margin of victory in adults 18-49 was 27 percent (2.8 vs. a 2.2 for Fox's second-place "So You Think You Can Dance" in that hour), and in total viewers, "Talent's" advantage was 78 percent (10.7 million vs. 6.0 million for "Dance").

Week to week, the Wednesday "America's Got Talent" was up 4 percent in both 18-49 rating (2.8 vs. 2.7) and total viewers (10.738 million vs. 10.318 million).

Versus the same night last year, the Wednesday "Talent" was up 8 percent in adults 18-49 (2.8 rating vs. a 2.6) and 10 percent in total viewers (10.738 million vs. 9.760 million).

Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET, "Love in the Wild" (1.6/5 in 18-49, 5.1 million viewers overall) ranked #1 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and all other key demographics.

On Thursday, July 28 at 8 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Community" averaged a 0.6/2 in 18-49 and 2.0 million viewers overall. At 8:30 p.m., a rebroadcast of "Parks and Recreation" (0.7/2 in 18-49, 2.0 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 17 percent in 18-49 rating.

Thursday from 9-9:31 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "The Office" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 2.4 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 29 percent in 18-49 rating. From 9:31-10 p.m., a rebroadcast "30 Rock" averaged a 0.8/2 in 18-4 and 2.0 million viewers overall.

Thursday at 10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" averaged a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 3.4 million viewers overall. "SVU" locked up NBC's top 18-49 rating in this time period since June 16 and its biggest overall audience in the slot since May 19.

On Friday, July 29 from 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Who Do You Think You Are?" averaged a 0.7/3 in 18-49 and 2.8 million viewers overall.

Friday from 9-11 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Dateline NBC" (1.4/5 in 18-49, 5.7 million viewers overall) ranked #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and other key measures. "Dateline" earned a three-week high in 18-49 and total viewers, delivering its top Friday results since July 8.

"Dateline NBC" reported the #1 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Dateline" grew by 33 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 from a 1.2) and 45 percent or more than 2.0 million persons in total viewers (6.7 million vs. 4.6 million).

NBC tied for #1 in primetime Friday night among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and ranked #1 outright in adults 25-54.

On Saturday, July 30 at 8 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Who Do You Think You Are?" (0.6/2 in 18-49, 2.4 million viewers overall) grew week-to-week by 50 percent in 18-49 rating (0.6 vs. 0.4) and 16 percent in total viewers (2.358 million vs. 2.030 million).

Saturday at 9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (0.7/2 in 18-49, 3.2 million viewers overall) improved week to week by 40 percent in 18-49 rating (0.7 vs. 0.5) and 18 percent in total viewers (3.219 million vs. 2.725 million). "CI" built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 17 percent in 18-49 rating and 37 percent in total viewers.

Saturday at 10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall) tied for #1 in adults 18-49. "SVU" built on its lead-in by 43 percent in 18-49 rating and 31 percent in total viewers.

On Sunday, July 31, from 7-8 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" averaged a 0.7/2 in adults 18-49 and 4.3 million viewers overall.

Sunday from 8-8:39 p.m. ET and 8:46-10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" averaged a 0.9/2 in 18-49 and 4.0 million viewers overall. In total viewers, "Talent" grew by 15 percent from its first half-hour to its fourth. Note: from 8:39-8:46 p.m. ET, programming was interrupted for news coverage.

Sunday at 10 p.m. ET, "The Marriage Ref" averaged a 0.9/2 in 18-49 and 2.9 million viewers overall.
