Disney Channel: Weekly Highlights

During the week of August 8, Disney Channel ranked as TV's No. 1 network for the 9th consecutive week in Total Day among both Kids 6-11 (842,000/3.4 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (685,000/2.8 rating). Competitively, Disney Channel surpassed Nickelodeon by 6% in Kids 6-11 (842,000 vs. 794,000) and by 16% in Tweens 9-14 (685,000 vs. 588,000). Impressively, this marked the 8th time in the previous 9 weeks the network held a double-digit percent advantage over Nickelodeon with Tweens 9-14. For the week, Disney Channel held 9 of TV's Top 10 telecasts in Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14, led by original episodes of "A.N.T. Farm" and "Phineas and Ferb."

In Prime, Disney Channel stood as cable's No. 1 network for the 326th consecutive week among Kids 6-11 (1.3 million/5.2 rating), extending its No. 1 streak to well over 6 years on a weekly basis, and was No. 1 for the 323rd time in the prior 326 weeks among Tweens 9-14 (1.0 million/4.1 rating).

In Total Viewers, Disney Channel was again cable's 2nd-most-watched network in both Total Day (2.0 million) and Prime (2.8 million).

· Sunday's encore of "Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension" ranked as TV's No. 1 telecast of the day among Kids 6-11 (1.6 million/6.6 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.3 million/5.3 rating), and cable's No. 1 scripted telecast in Prime in Total Viewers (3.5 million).

· To date, "Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension" has reached nearly 26.6 million unique Total Viewers across the U.S., including 12.4 million Kids 6-14 across its airings on both Disney Channel and Disney XD.

· Friday's all-new "Fish Hooks" (9:15 - 9:30 p.m.) delivered a series high in Kids 6-11 (1.8 million/7.4 rating) and was its No. 2 telecast ever in Tweens 9-14 (1.4 million/5.8 rating).
