CBS First Season-to-Date in Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54

CBS placed first in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, winning the week by nearly 5 million viewers, the largest margin of victory this season, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Nov. 5.

For the week in viewers, CBS averaged a season high 12.96m, +4.78 million more viewers than second place FOX (8.18m), followed by ABC (8.07m) and (NBC 7.17m). Compared to the same week last year, CBS was up +11% in viewers.

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 18-49 (3.4/09) and adults 25-54 (4.4/11). Compared to the same week last year, CBS was up +10% in both adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (13.04m), adults 18-49 (3.5/09, tie) and adults 25-54 (4.5/11) with increases of +2% in both in viewers and adults 25-54 and +3% in adults 18-49 compared to last year.

CBS's weekly victories in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 were spread across all nights and all genres and included season high ratings for several series.

Comedy

· THE BIG BANG THEORY posted Thursday highs in households (9.4/15), viewers (15.98m), adults 25-54 (6.8/18) and adults 18-49 (5.4/16) and matched its Thursday best adults 18-34 delivery (3.8/13).

· RULES OF ENGAGEMENT posted its best Thursday deliveries in households (6.9/11), viewers (11.81m) and adults 18-49 (3.7/10).

Drama

· BLUE BLOODS delivered its largest audience (12.73m) and best adult 18-49 rating 2.1/06) since its series premiere on Sept. 24, 2010. It also matched series highs in adults 25-54 (3.2/09).

Reality

· SURVIVOR posted its largest audience (11.95m) since Dec. 15, 2010, best adults 18-49 (3.6/10) rating since Dec. 8, 2010 and matched the season high adults 18-34 ratings (1.9/06).

Sports

· HOME DEPOT PRIME COLLEGE FOOTBALL (LSU vs. Alabama) scored an 11.5/20 in households with 20.01m viewers, 7.9/21 in adults 25-54, 7.2/21 in adults 18-49, 6.7/23 in adults 18-34, 10.4/27 in men 25-54, 9.3/27 in men 18-49 and 8.8/30 in men 18-34 from 8:00-11:39 PM. CBS placed first in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, winning the week by nearly 5 million viewers, the largest margin of victory this season, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Nov. 6.

For the week in viewers, CBS averaged a season high 12.96m, +4.78 million more viewers than second place FOX (8.18m), followed by ABC (8.07m) and (NBC 7.17m). Compared to the same week last year, CBS was up +11% in viewers.

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 18-49 (3.4/09) and adults 25-54 (4.4/11). Compared to the same week last year, CBS was up +10% in both adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (13.04m), adults 18-49 (3.5/09, tie) and adults 25-54 (4.5/11) with increases of +2% in both in viewers and adults 25-54 and +3% in adults 18-49 compared to last year.
