UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - January 6, 2012 - NBC's late-night lineup has generated #1 rankings for the week of December 26-30 over the ABC and CBS time-period competition, in a holiday week of encore telecasts during which Monday results were excluded.

For the week, Jay out-delivered CBS's "Late Show" and ABC's combination of "Nightline" and "Kimmel" in viewers 18-49, total viewers and other key categories. In 18-49 rating, "Tonight" and "Late Show" tied with a 0.7 rating each, while in viewers 18-49, "Tonight" posted a 9 percent margin of victory (with 954,000 adults 18-49 vs. 872,000). At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon delivered bigger audiences than CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and head to head against ABC's second half of "Kimmel" in all key ratings categories.

Through the first 15 weeks of the season, "Tonight" has increased its total-viewer margin over "Late Show" to 13 percent (3.742 million vs. 3.315 million), up from the year-ago season-to-date advantage of 8 percent.
