ABC Ranks #1 on Friday in Adults 18-49 - "20/20" is the Top-Rated Show

Up against all-original competition on the evening, ABC finished #1 on Friday among Adults 18-49. In fact, it was the Net's 4th straight Friday to deliver the #1 position against its network rivals. At 10pm, ABC's 20/20 qualified as the night's #1 program in the key young adult sales demo.

During the 8 o'clock hour, ABC's Shark Tank ran in a virtual-tie for first place with Fox's Kitchen Nightmares among Adults 18-49 (pacing within 1-tenth of a rating point and tied in audience share), while holding double-digit advantages over CBS' A Gifted Man (+25%) and NBC's season premiere of Who Do You Think You Are? (+36%). The broad-appealing ABC unscripted series also ranked #1 with Adults 25-54 and Women 18-49, as well as standing as the top-rated broadcast show with Teens 12-17 and Kids 2-11.

At 9pm, ABC's Primetime: What Would You Do? earned second place with viewers and young adults, drawing a larger audience than NBC's Grimm and beating out Fox's Fringe by 27% in Adults 18-49. In addition among Adults 18-34, ABC's What Would You Do? beat out Fox's Fringe by 11%, NBC's Grimm by 25% and CBS' CSI: NY by 25%.

Friday's #1 TV show in Adults 18-49, ABC's 20/20 once again dominated its newsmagazine competition during the 10 o'clock hour with viewers and key adults. ABC's 20/20 defeated NBC's Dateline by impressive margins in head-to-head competition in Total Viewers (+19%), Adults 25-54 (+47%) and Adults 18-49 (+55%). 20/20 featured an in-depth look at marriage and divorce, Hollywood style.

· Surging week to week in Adults 25-54 (+10%) and Adults 18-49 (+13%), 20/20 equaled its 2nd-highest numbers since mid-October - since 10/21/11.
