NICKELODEON WINS FEBRUARY WITH KIDS AND TOTAL VIEWERS

Victorious Ranks as Number-One Program with Kids 6-11 and Tweens for the Month; SpongeBob SquarePants Takes Top Spot with Kids 2-11; Bubble Guppies Scores Top Preschool Telecast

NEW YORK - Feb. 28, 2012 - Nickelodeon closed February (1/30/12-2/26/12) as the number-one cable net in total day with kids 2-11 (2.7/946,000) and total viewers (1.7 million). The net's win was fueled by solid performances from hit live-action series Victorious, which ranks as the top program for the month with kids 6-11 (7.4/1.6 million) and tweens 9-14 (7.8/1.6 million); and iconic animated series, SpongeBob SquarePants, which ranks as the top show with kids 2-11 (5.8/2.0 million) for the month. Preschool hit Bubble Guppies also closed the month on top, with the number-one preschool telecast across all TV.

A new episode of Victorious, "Car, Rain, and Fire" (Saturday, February 25, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT) ranks as the top telecast for the week (2/20/12-2/26/12) with kids 6-11 (7.8/1.6 million) and tweens 9-14 (7.5/1.6 million). The Friday night premiere of Fred: The Show, "Fred: The Teensitter/The Expired Cow" (February 24, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT) ranks as the number two telecast for the week with tweens 9-14 (6.3/1.3 million).
