FOX Weekly Ratings - Network Ranks #1 For Third Consecutive Week Among Adults 18-49

AMERICAN IDOL TOPS THE WEEK AGAIN

FOX Ranks #1 For Third Consecutive Week Among Adults 18-49

AMERICAN IDOL was once again the most-watched program last week and, along with FOX's Tuesday sitcoms, BOB'S BURGERS and a special encore of TOUCH, led the network to rank #1 for the third week in a row among Adults 18-49. In addition, FOX dominated among Young Adults, ranking No. 1 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday last week.

Season to date, FOX is holding strong with a 3.3/9 in the core adult demographic and continues to rank as the No. 1 network among Adults 18-49 this season.

Excluding sports, this week FOX had:

· 7 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-49: AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 1), AMERICAN IDOL-Thurs (No. 3), FAMILY GUY (No. 10 tie), NEW GIRL (No. 10 tie), THE SIMPSONS (No. 16), AMERICAN DAD (No. 20 tie) and TOUCH ENCORE (No. 20 tie).

FOX won Tuesday night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

At 8pm RAISING HOPE posted 1.8/6 and was the second-highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-34 and Teens (both behind NEW GIRL). In addition, RAISING HOPE won the 8pm half hour among Adults 18-34 and Teens.

I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER followed with a 1.4/4 and ranked #2 in 8:30pm half hour among Adults 18-34 (tie).

At 9pm, NEW GIRL posted a 2.8/8 and was the highest rated program of the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens. NEW GIRL won the 9pm half hour in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

BREAKING IN closed the night with a 1.5/4 and won the 9:30p half hour in Adults 18-34.

WEDNESDAY

8:00-10:00 AMERICAN IDOL: (Adults 18-49: 5.4/16, 18.4 Mil Total Viewers)

FOX scored a victory on Wednesday night with Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54 and Teens. FOX beat its nearest competitor for the night by +86% in Adults 18-49 (5.4 vs. 2.9 for CBS), +112% in Adults 18-34 (3.6 vs. ABC's 1.7) and +64% in Total Viewers (18.4 vs. 11.2 Mil for CBS). FOX has now won nine Wednesdays in a row among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers.

AMERICAN IDOL outperformed this Monday's telecast of The Voice in Adults 18-49 (+4%, 5.4 vs. 5.2) and in Total Viewers (+27%, 18.4 vs. 14.5 Mil.) In fact, AMERICAN IDOL's 18.4 Mil Total Viewers was higher than any Monday episode of The Voice.

AMERICAN IDOL was the highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Teens and outperformed the #2 programs of the night by +20% in Adults 18-49 (5.4 vs. 4.5 for Modern Family) and +57% in Total Viewers (18.4 vs. 11.7 Mil for CSI).

THURSDAY

8:00-9:00 AMERICAN IDOL: (Adults 18-49: 4.6/14, 16.0 Mil Total Viewers)

9:00-10:00 TOUCH (RS): (Adults 18-49: 2.2/6, 8.6 Mil Total Viewers)

FOX also won Thursday night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 and Teens. FOX beat its nearest competitor for the night by +42% in Adults 18-49 (3.4 vs. 2.4 for ABC) and +35% in Total Viewers (12.3 vs. 9.1 Mil for ABC). FOX has now ranked #1 nine Thursdays in a row among Adults 18-49.

Thursday's AMERICAN IDOL showed stronger week to week retention (94%) in Adults 18-49 than the same Thursday nights last year (85%, 3/17/11 vs. 3/10/11).

AMERICAN IDOL was the highest rated program of the night in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers and Teens. AMERICAN IDOL outperformed the #2 programs of the night by +53% in Adults 18-49 (4.6 vs. 3.0 for Grey's Anatomy) and +51% in Total Viewers (16.0 vs. 10.6 Mil for Missing).

AMERICAN IDOL won its 8pm hour in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens and Total Viewers and outperformed its nearest competitors in the hour by +119% in Adults 18-49 (4.6 vs. 2.1 for ABC and NBC) and +51% in Total Viewers (16.0 vs. 10.6 Mil for Missing.)

At 9pm an encore of the TOUCH preview episode posted a 2.2/6 among Adults 18-49 and ranked #2 in the hour in Adults 18-49 and #1 in Teens.

At 8:30pm BOB'S BURGERS delivered a 2.1/5, up +11% from its season premiere last week (3/11/12, P, 1.9/5). BOB'S BURGERS ranked #2 in the half hour in Adults 18-34 and #1 in Teens.
