NBC LATE-NIGHT RATINGS RESULTS FOR THE WEEK OF APRIL 16-20

JIMMY FALLON ENCORES TOP 'LATE LATE SHOW' ORIGINALS IN 18-49 VIEWERS AND TOTAL VIEWERS
UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - April 26, 2012 - NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" has delivered bigger audiences in adults 18-49, total viewers and all other key ratings categories versus CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" in a week of rebroadcasts for both shows.
At 12:35 a.m. ET, encore telecasts of "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" out-delivered originals of CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" in viewers 18-49 (519,000 vs. 478,000), total viewers (1.330 million vs. 1.246 million) and most other key categories.
Through the first 31 weeks of the season, "Tonight" has increased its total-viewer margin over "Late Show" to 15 percent (3.722 million vs. 3.235 million), up from the year-ago season-to-date advantage of 8 percent. Jimmy Fallon has also established a total-viewer lead over "Late Late Show" this season of 15 percent (1.767 million vs. 1.536 million), up from last year's advantage of 0.1 percent. Jimmy has also increased his season-to-date lead over "Late Late Show" in adults 18-34, to 39 percent (276,000 vs. 199,000) up from last year's 23 percent, and in adults 25-54, up to 10 percent (867,000 vs. 785,000) up from 2 percent at this point last season.
"Tonight" delivered a bigger 18-49 audience than "Late Show" for the 15th time in 18 weeks while Jimmy Fallon attracted a bigger 18-49 audience than "Late Late Show" for a 21st week in a row.
