"MTV2's Guy Code" Season Two Debut Delivers Highest Rated and Most Watched Original Season Premiere in Network's History

"MTV2'S GUY CODE" SEASON TWO DEBUT DELIVERS HIGHEST RATED AND MOST WATCHED ORIGINAL SEASON PREMIERE IN NETWORK'S HISTORY

NEW YORK, NY (July 18, 2012) - "MTV2's Guy Code" altered the manscape last night with its second season debut delivering the highest rated and most watched original season opener in MTV2 history with a .41 and 260,000 viewers among P12-34.

On the social front, #GuyCode and @MTV_2 spurred the conversation last night, becoming a trending topic nationally on Twitter, and among the Top 5 most social programs and Top 10 networks for the night per the "Social Guide Series Report for July 17, 2012."

The launch of second season of "Guy Code" continues MTV2's investment and momentum in an original programming destination on Tuesdays at 11:00 p.m., notching a +5% increase among P12-34 over the premiere of "Hip Hop Squares" on May 22, 2012, a +37% increase over the premiere of "Nitro Circus Live" on March 27, 2012 and a +21% increase over the season one premiere of "Guy Code" on November 15, 2011.

The second episode of "Guy Code" will air on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on MTV2 and feature the "Guy Code" cast all new topics Going Abroad, Massages, Racism and One Night Stands.
