UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - July 24, 2012 - With "America's Got Talent" ranking #1 in total viewers, marking the eighth week in a row it's delivered the biggest audience among non-sports telecasts on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, NBC has averaged a 1.1 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 4.3 million viewers overall for the week of July 16-22, according to "live plus same day" viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

Among NBC's top-ranked programs for the week in adults 18-49, Tuesday's "America's Got Talent" tied for #3 in adults 18-49 among all primetime programs on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, Wednesday's "Talent" tied for #12, Monday's "American Ninja Warrior" tied for #15, Monday's "Fear Factor" tied for #18, Tuesday's "Love in the Wild" tied for #23 and Friday's "Dateline NBC" and Wednesday's "Law & Order: SVU" encore tied for #25.

Primetime averages for the week of July 16-22 in adults 18-49 were: ABC (1.5/5), Fox (1.4/5), CBS (1.2/4), NBC (1.1/4) and CW (0.3/1). In overall total viewers, the weekly averages were: CBS (5.3 million), ABC (4.9 million), NBC (4.3 million), Fox (3.8 million) and CW (0.7 million).

For the 2011-12 broadcast year to date, NBC is tied for #3 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adult 18-49 rating and is the only network among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox that's up versus one year ago in viewers 18-49. NBC is also #2 in adults 18-34 for the broadcast year to date. Averages for the broadcast year through 44 weeks are: Fox (2.9/8), CBS (2.6/8), ABC (2.3/7), NBC (2.3/7) and CW (0.7/2). In overall total viewers, the broadcast-year averages are: CBS (10.6 million), Fox (8.1 million), ABC (7.9 million), NBC (7.0 million) and CW (1.5 million).

NBC highlights for the week of July 16-22

* On Monday, "American Ninja Warrior" jumped versus the prior week by 29 percent in 18-49 and 15 percent in total viewers.

* Also on Monday, "Fear Factor" grew 31 percent from its first half-hour to its second in 18-49 rating and was up week to week by 7 percent. .

* On Tuesday, "America's Got Talent" scored the night's #1 results in 18-49 and total-viewers.

* Also on Tuesday, "Love in the Wild" hit a three-week high to lead the 10 p.m. ET hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in 18-49.

* On Wednesday, "America's Got Talent" tied for the #1 rating of the night in 18-49 and was #1 for the night outright in total viewers. .

* Wednesday's encore of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" delivered NBC's biggest overall audience in the 8 p.m. ET half-hour since May 23.

* Also on Wednesday, rebroadcasts of "Up All Night" and "Law & Order: SVU" matched their summer highs in 18-49. "SVU" tied for #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in 18-49 for the 10 p.m. hour.

* On Thursday, "Rock Center" improved on NBC's total-viewer average in the time period last season by 33 percent and "Saving Hope" was up by 30 percent .

* On Friday, "Dateline NBC" equaled its highest 18-49 rating since June 1 to tie for #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC for "Dateline's" second hour from 10-11 p.m. ET.

* NBC ranked #1 Saturday night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, with the 10 p.m. ET encore of "Law & Order: SVU" tying for the #1 primetime rating of the night on those networks.

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

Additional NBC highlights for the week of July 16-22:

On Monday, July 16 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Fear Factor" (1.5 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall) grew week to week by 7 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.5 from a 1.4) and by 5 percent in total viewers (4.2 million vs. 4.0 million). Versus NBC's average in this time period last summer, "Fear Factor" was up 36 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.5 from a 1.1, "live plus same day," non-sports). From its first half-hour to its second, "Fear Factor" grew by 31 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.7 from a 1.3) and by 21 percent in total viewers (4.6 million vs. 3.8 million).

Monday from 9-10 p.m. ET, "American Ninja Warrior" (1.8/5 in 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall) jumped week to week by 29 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.8 from a 1.4) and by 15 percent in total viewers (4.587 million vs. 3.993 million). This week's telecast built on its 18-49 lead-in by 20 percent in 18-49 rating and 9 percent in total viewers. Versus NBC's average in this time period last summer, "American Ninja Warrior" is up 64 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.8 from a 1.1, "live plus same day," non-sports).

Monday at 10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Grimm" (0.8/2 in 18-49, 2.5 million viewers overall) is up 33 percent week to week in adults 18-49 (to a 0.8 rating from a 0.6), up 25 percent in adults 25-54 (1.0 vs. 0.8) and up 18 percent in total viewers (2.514 million vs. 2.134 million).

On Tuesday, July 17, from 8-10 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (2.6/8 in 18-49, 10.2 million viewers overall) scored the #1 results of the night in 18-49, total viewers and other key categories. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Talent" grew by 22 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.8 from a 2.3) and 12 percent or 1.2 million persons in total viewers (10.6 million vs. 9.4 million).

Tuesday from 10-11 p.m. ET, "Love in the Wild" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall) hit three-week highs in 18-49 and total viewers, with the show's top results since June 26. "Love in the Wild" grew versus its results for the prior week by 8 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.3 from a 1.2) and 2 percent in total viewers (4.233 million vs. 4.165 million). In the time period, "Love in the Wild" ranked #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, as well as adults, men and women 18-34.

NBC finished #1 Tuesday Night in total viewers and other key categories.

On Wednesday, July 18 at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" delivered a 1.1/4 in 18-49 and 4.7 million viewers overall. It was NBC's biggest overall audience in the half-hour, excluding sports, since May 23. Week to week, "Off Their Rockers" was up 4 percent in total viewers (4.693 million vs. 4.534 million).

Wednesday at 8:30 ET, a rebroadcast of "Up All Night" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 2.8 million viewers overall) grew 14 percent week to week in 18-49 rating (to a 0.8 from a 0.7) to match its highest rating of the summer. "Up All Night" also grew week to week by 6 percent in total viewers (2.820 million vs. 2.661 million) to deliver a summer high by that measure.

Wednesday from 9-10 p.m. ET, the "America's Got Talent" Results Show (2.0/6 in 18-49, 7.6 million viewers overall) tied for the #1 18-49 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox (with CBS's "Big Brother") and is #1 outright among those networks for the night in total viewers. "Talent" led its time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49, total viewers and other key measures and built on its lead-in by 150 percent in 18-49 rating. From its first half-hour to its second, "Talent" increased by 16 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.2 from a 1.9) and by 13 percent in total viewers (8.1 million vs. 7.1 million).

Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.2/3 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall) tied for #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in 18-49. "Law & Order: SVU" matched its highest 18-49 rating of the summer to date.

On Thursday, July 19 at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "The Office" averaged a 0.6/2 in 18-49 and 1.9 million viewers overall, and at 8:30, a rebroadcast of "Parks and Recreation" delivered a 0.6/2 in 18-49 and 1.6 million viewers overall.

Thursday at 9 p.m. ET, "Saving Hope" averaged a 0.5/2 in 18-49 and 3.0 million viewers overall. "Saving Hope" grew from its first half-hour to its second by a tenth of a rating point in 18-49 (to a 0.6 from a 0.5) and by 5 percent in total viewers (3.1 million vs. 3.0 million). Compared with NBC's total-viewer average in the time period last summer, "Saving Hope" is up 30 percent (3.0 million vs. 2.3 million, L+SD non-sports).

Thursday at 10 p.m. ET, "Rock Center" delivered a 0.7/2 in 18-49 and 3.4 million viewers overall, growing from its first half-hour to its second by 14 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.8 from a 0.7), 20 percent in adults 25-54 (1.2 vs. 1.0) and 12 percent in total viewers (3.6 million vs. 3.2 million). Versus its lead-in, "Rock Center" was up 40 percent in 18-49, 57 percent in adults 25-54 (to a 1.1 rating from a 0.7) and 13 percent in total viewers. Compared with NBC's total-viewer average in the time period last summer, "Rock Center" is up 33 percent (3.4 million vs. 2.6 million, L+SD non-sports).

Friday, July 20 at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Whitney" averaged a 0.5/2 in 18-49 and 2.2 million viewers overall. At 8:30, a rebroadcast of "Community" delivered a 0.3/1 in 18-49 and 1.2 million viewers overall.

Friday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall) matched its highest Friday 18-49 rating since June 1. "Dateline" equaled its 18-49 rating of the prior week and was up week to week by 7 percent in adults 25-54 (to a 1.6 rating from a 1.5) and up 3 percent in total viewers (4.6 million vs. 4.5 million). In its two-hour time period, "Dateline" ranked #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and total viewers and tied for #1 in adults 25-54. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Dateline" grew by 33 percent in both adults 18-49 (to a 1.2 rating from a 0.9) and adults 25-54 (1.6 vs. 1.2) and by 34 percent or more than 1.2 million persons in total viewers (4.9 million vs. 3.6 million).

For its second hour from 10-11 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" tied for #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 (with a 1.3 rating each for "Dateline" and ABC's "20/20") and adults 25-54 (1.7 vs. a 1.7 for "20/20") and was #1 among those networks in total viewers (5.0 million vs. 4.9 million for CBS's second-place "Blue Bloods" encore).

On Saturday, July 21, "NBC Sports Specials: 30 Greatest NBC Olympic Moments" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 2.7 million viewers overall) tied for #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49. From its first half-hour to its second, "30 Greatest NBC Olympic Moments" grew by 17 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.7 from a 0.6) and 27 percent in total viewers (to 3.1 million from 2.4 million).

Saturday at 9 p.m. ET, an encore of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (0.6/2 in 18-49, 2.7 million viewers overall) tied for #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in the time period in adults 18-49 and tied for #1 among adults 18-34. From its first half-hour to its second, "SVU" grew by 40 percent in 18-49 (to a 0.7 rating from a 0.5) and 26 percent in total viewers (to 3.0 million from 2.4 million). .

Saturday at 10 p.m. ET, a second rebroadcast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.5 million viewers overall) tied for the #1 18-49 primetime rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox with CBS's "48 Hours Mystery." The 10 p.m. "Law & Order: SVU" rebroadcast built on its lead-in from the prior "SVU" encore by 33 percent in 18-49 rating, 38 percent in adults 25-54 (with a 1.1 rating vs. a 0.8) and 30 percent in total viewers. The 10 p.m. "SVU" encore captured NBC's top non-sports 18-49 and total-viewer results in the time period so far this summer.

NBC ranked #1 Saturday night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and tied for #1 among those networks in adults 18-34 and 25-54.

On Sunday, July 22, from 7-9 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall) grew versus the prior week by 25 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.0 rating from a 0.8) and 17 percent in adults 25-54 (1.4 vs. 1.2).

Sunday from 9-11 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" delivered a 0.8/2 in 18-49 and 3.0 million viewers overall.
