NEW YORK, NY - July 31, 2012 - Powered by a strong slate of new and original programming that includes "The Glee Project" season two and "I'm Having Their Baby," Oxygen Media delivered a month of ratings success with year-over-year double-digit growth for July among all key demos, according to Nielsen. The network averaged 415,000 total viewers this past month in primetime compared to July 2011. Drawing its youngest July audience ever, Oxygen grew 32 percent among women 18-34 and dropped its median age by four years. In addition, the network increased by 24 percent among women 18-34 and 23 percent among adults 18-34 vs. the prior month. Following a strong first season, "The Glee Project" season two is pacing to earn its highest rated season among women 18-34, up nine percent compared to the previous season on a Live+7 basis to-date. The fourth episode marked a season high, drawing in over one million total viewers (1.102 million). The recent launch of "I'm Having Their Baby" marked the network's first foray into more serious and thought-provoking original programming and the premiere delivered nearly 900,000 total viewers and 370,000 women 18-49. The series premiere put Oxygen among the Top Five cable networks with women 18-34. Also contributing to a successful July is "Tanisha Gets Married," the network's best freshman docu-series finale ever among all key demos. The buzzed-about season finale delivered more than 796,000 total viewers (7/2/12), out-delivering CBS. In addition, season nine of the wildly popular "Bad Girls Club," out-delivered ABC, CBS and NBC in women 18-34 in the Monday, 10 pm hour this month.
