Though these preliminary fast-affiliate ratings are likely inflated by local NFL coverage, they currently represent summer highs for both shows.
· Pending updates, at 9 p.m. ET, "Saving Hope" is currently averaging a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 3.7 million viewers overall. Though these preliminary fast-affiliate ratings are likely inflated by local NFL coverage, "Saving Hope" is currently reporting its top 18-49 rating of the summer.
· Pending updates, at 10 p.m. ET, "Rock Center" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 5.4 million viewers overall) is currently tied for #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 and #1 outright among those networks in total viewers. Though these preliminary fast-affiliate ratings are likely inflated by local NFL coverage, "Rock Center" is currently reporting its top 18-49 rating since July 12 and matching its highest 18-49 rating of the summer. Compared with NBC's averages in the time period last summer, last night's "Rock Center" is currently up 33 percent in 18-49 (1.2 vs. 0.9, L+SD non-sports) and 110 percent in total viewers (5.419 million vs. 2.579 million), pending updates.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.6/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.0/5; and ABC's combo of "Nightline," 2.7/7; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.4/4.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.7/3; "Late Show," 0.5/2; "Nightline," 0.8/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2.
· At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
