CBS WINS ITS SECOND CONSECUTIVE WEEK IN VIEWERS

CBS Is Also First in Adults 25-54

Network Increases Its Margin of Victory Over Its Nearest Competitor

CBS Has Four of the Top Five Programs and 10 of the Top 20 in Viewers, Led By #1 Program of the Week "NCIS"

CBS Also Notches Four of the Top Five Scripted Series in Adults 18-49

"Hawaii Five-0," "Two and a Half Men," "Person of Interest," "48 Hours," "60 Minutes" and "The Amazing Race" Post Week-to-Week Adults 18-49 Gains

"Vegas" and "Elementary" Continue as the Season's Top Two New Series

CBS won its second consecutive week in viewers to begin the season with a greater margin than in premiere week, notching four of the top five programs in viewers and also four of the week's top five scripted series in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Oct. 7, Week Two of the 2012-2013 television season.

CBS won the week by +2.72 million viewers, +360,000 viewers more than its premiere week victory and also placed first in adults 25-54 (tie).

CBS has four of the top five, six of the top 10 and 10 of the top 20 programs in viewers led by NCIS (#1), 60 MINUTES (#3), THE BIG BANG THEORY (#4) and NCIS: LOS ANGELES (#5) with PERSON OF INTEREST placing #6. THE BIG BANG THEORY, NCIS, TWO AND A HALF MEN and 2 BROKE GIRLS were four of the week's top five scripted programs in adults 18-49.

HAWAII FIVE-0, TWO AND A HALF MEN, PERSON OF INTEREST, 48 HOURS, 60 MINUTES and THE AMAZING RACE all posted week-to-week gains in adults 18-49.

VEGAS and ELEMENTARY remain the season's top two new series among viewers.

In weekday 10:00 PM hour, CBS was first in households (6.6/11), viewers (10.25m), adults 25-54 (2.7/07) and adults 18-49 (1.9/06) for the second consecutive week.

For the week in viewers: CBS (10.44m), ABC (7.72m), NBC (7.51m) and FOX (5.28m). Season-to-date: CBS (10.57m), ABC (8.04m), NBC (7.86m) and FOX (6.11m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was tied for first in adults 25-54 (3.2/08, with NBC) and was second in adults 18-49 (2.4/07).

For the week in households: CBS (6.6/11), ABC (5.0/08), NBC (4.7/08) and FOX (3.2/05). Season-to-date: CBS (6.7/11), ABC (5.2/08), NBC (4.9/08) and FOX (3.7/06).

CBS's Weekly Highlights:

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (5.1/08, 8.17m) was tied for first in adults 18-34 (3.0/10, with NBC) and was second in both adults 25-54 (3.6/09) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09).

2 BROKE GIRLS (5.7/08, 9.22m) was second in adults 25-54 (4.0/09) and adults 18-49 (3.5/08). 2 BROKE GIRLS was the night's #1 scripted program in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

MIKE & MOLLY (5.4/08, 8.52m) was second in both adults 25-54 (3.5/08) and adults 18-49 (2.9/07).

HAWAII FIVE-0 (5.2/08, 7.95m) was second in households and adults 18-49 (2.0/05). Compared to last week's season premiere, HAWAII FIVE-0 was up +11% in adults 18-49 (from 1.8/05) and was even in adults 25-54 (2.5/06).

-- On Tuesday, CBS was first in households (9.5/15), viewers (15.30m), adults 25-54 (4.0/10) and adults 18-49 (2.9/08). CBS won every half-hour in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

NCIS was first in households (11.6/18), viewers (18.87m), adults 25-54 (5.1/13) and adults 18-49 (3.7/11). NCIS was the night's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in households (9.2/14), viewers (14.91m), adults 25-54 (4.1/09) and adults 18-49 (3.1/08).

VEGAS was first in households (7.7/13), viewers (12.11m), adults 25-54 (2.9/07) and adults 18-49 (2.0/06).

SURVIVOR PHILIPPINES was first in households (6.4/10), viewers (10.38m) and adults 25-54 (4.1/11) and was second in adults 18-49 (3.0/09).

-- On Thursday, CBS was first in households (8.2/13), viewers (13.18m), adults 25-54 (4.4/11) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09). CBS won Thursday for the second straight week in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

THE BIG BANG THEORY swept its time period, finishing first in households (9.3/165, viewers (15.18m), adults 25-54 (6.2/17), adults 18-49 (4.9/16) and adults 18-34 (3.3/13). THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

TWO AND A HALF MEN was first in households (7.6/12), viewers (12.33m), adults 25-54 (4.7/12) and adults 18-49 (3.6/11). Compared to last week, TWO AND A HALF MEN was up +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.6/12) and +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.5/10).

PERSON OF INTEREST was first in households (9.0/14) and viewers (14.58m) and was second in both adults 25-54 (4.3/10) and adults 18-49 (3.0/08). Compared to the season premiere last week, PERSON OF INTEREST was up +2% in households (from 8.8/14), +13% in adults 25-54 (from 3.8/09), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 2.9/08) and added +300,000 viewers (from 14.28m, +2%).

ELEMENTARY was first in households (7.2/12), viewers (11.13m), adults 25-54 (3.5/09) and adults 18-49 (2.5/07).

CSI: NY was first in households (5.4/10) and viewers (8.40m) and was second in adults 25-54 (1.7/05) and adults 18-49 (1.2/04).

MADE IN JERSEY was first in households (4.6/08) and viewers (6.78m).

BLUE BLOODS won its time slot in households (6.5/12) and viewers (9.77m), was tied for first in adults 25-54 (1.8/05, with NBC) and was tied for second in adults 18-49 (1.2/04, with ABC, -0.1 behind NBC).

48 HOURS (10:00-11:00 PM) was first in households (3.7/07), second in viewers (5.24m) and averaged 1.4/04 in adults 25-54 and 1.0/03 in adults 18-49. Compared to last week's season premiere, 48 HOURS was up +9% in households (from 3.4/06), +8% in adults 25-54 (from 1.3/04), +11% in adults 18-49 (from 0.9/03) and added +400,000 viewers (from 4.84m, +8%).

-- CBS's late-running football delivered a 16.7/28 with 28.59m viewers, 11.1/29 in adults 25-54 and 10.0/30 in adults 18-49 from 7:00-7:33 PM.

60 MINUTES (7:33-8:33 PM) was first in households (10.0/15), viewers (15.96m), adults 25-54 (4.8/11) and second in adults 18-49 (3.6/09). 60 MINUTES posted its best deliveries in these measures since Jan. 8, 2012.

THE AMAZING RACE 21 (8:33-9:33 PM) was second in households (5.8/08) and viewers (9.66m), was tied for second in adults 25-54 (3.5/07, with ABC) and averaged 2.6/07 in adults 18-49. Compared to last week's season premiere, THE AMAZING RACE 21 was up +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.5/06) and added +260,000 viewers (from 9.40m, +3%).
