Monday's Broadcast Ratings: "The Voice" Climbs to Season High for NBC

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night:

NBC (11.36 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.4, #1) was the top draw on a Hurricane Sandy-disrupted evening with new episodes of "The Voice" (12.84 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 5.0, #1) and "Revolution" (8.39 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.1, #2).

ABC (13.84 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.7, #2) then was the most-watched with originals from "Dancing with the Stars" (14.78 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.7, #T3) and "Castle" (11.95 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.7, #T3).

Meanwhile, CBS (7.19 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.2, #3) offered up repeats of "How I Met Your Mother" (7.26 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.4, #6), "Partners" (5.54 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.8, #9), "2 Broke Girls" (7.52 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.5, #5) and "Mike & Molly" (6.92 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.2, #7) plus a "CBS News Special" (7.97 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.1, #8).

Next up was FOX (2.67 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #4) with repeats of "The X Factor" (2.95 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.1, #10) and a second "The X Factor" (2.39 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #11).

And finally, encores of "90210" (0.99 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #12) and "Gossip Girl" (0.67 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #13) on The CW (0.83 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) closed out the night. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "90210" delivered a 0.7 rating while "Gossip Girl" posted a 0.5 rating.

* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.9/4; "Nightline," 1.3/5; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4.

* At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.7/6 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.4/5). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.4/3).

* At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (10/31/11):

CBS (11.29 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.8, #1) was the network to beat on Monday with its original mix of "How I Met Your Mother" (10.70 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 4.1, #3), "2 Broke Girls" (11.14 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 4.2, #2), "Two and a Half Men" (13.81 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.7, #1), "Mike & Molly" (11.53 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.8, #4) and "Hawaii Five-0" (10.28 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.9, #T5).

The silver then went to ABC (13.90 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.7, #2) and its lineup of "Scared Shrekless" (8.68 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.7, #10), "Dancing With the Stars" (16.28 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.8, #7) and "Castle" (12.94 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.9, #T5).
