Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: NFL Sparks NBC Gold, CBS Silver

Here are the highlights of the 20 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night:

NBC (13.26 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 4.9, #1) continued its Sunday reign last night with its usual mix of "Football Night in America #1" (6.32 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 1.9, #14), "Football Night in America #2" (8.02 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 2.7, #7), "Football Night in America #3" (12.75 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 4.5, #4) and "Sunday Night Football" (15.80 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 6.0, #2).

CBS (12.59 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.0, #2) then claimed the silver thanks to its mix of (half-hour results only) "NFL Overrun" (19.54 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 6.1, #1), "NFL Overrun/60 Minutes" (17.30 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.9, #3), "60 Minutes" (14.15 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.2, #6), "60 Minutes/The Amazing Race 21" (11.45 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.5, #T8), "The Amazing Race 21" (9.48 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.2, #11), "The Amazing Race 21/The Good Wife" (9.79 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.1, #12), "The Good Wife" (9.65 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T17) and "The Good Wife/The Mentalist" (9.38 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T17).

Next up was ABC (8.97 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.9, #3) with a new "America's Funniest Home Videos" (7.47 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.7, #16) alongside "The 2012 American Music Awards" (9.47 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 3.4, #5).

And finally on FOX (4.18 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.0, #4), a repeat of "Bob's Burgers" (3.42 million viewers, #19; adults 18-49: 1.3, #20) lead into new episodes of "The Cleveland Show" (3.28 million viewers, #20; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T17), "The Simpsons" (5.19 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 2.5, #T8), "Bob's Burgers" (3.98 million viewers, #18; adults 18-49: 1.8, #15), "Family Guy" (5.07 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 2.5, #T8), "American Dad" (4.16 million viewers, #17; adults 18-49: 2.0, #13).

NBC (14.80 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.5, #1) as usual was the network to beat on Sunday with its mix of "Football Night in America #1" (7.23 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 2.3, #11), "Football Night in America #2" (10.26 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 3.8, #5), "Football Night in America #3" (13.29 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 4.7, #3) and "Sunday Night Football" (17.53 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 6.6, #1).

ABC (10.14 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.5, #2) then took home the silver with its coverage of "Countdown to American Music Awards" (4.46 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 1.3, #16) and "The 2011 American Music Awards" (12.04 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 4.3, #4).

Next up was CBS (11.88 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.8, #3) and its combination of "NFL Overrun" (19.06 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.6, #2), "60 Minutes" (13.87 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.0, #7), "The Amazing Race" (10.05 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.7, #T8), "The Good Wife" (9.65 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T12) and "CSI: Miami" (8.89 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.7, #15).
