"30 Rock" Earns Its Highest 18-49 Rating Since October 11 and Hits a Season High in Total Viewers
NBC spins the numbers for Thursday, November 29.

Thursday Results (Fox carried NFL football in New Orleans and the CW carried the game in Atlanta):

* At 8 p.m. ET, "30 Rock" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 3.6 million viewers overall) earned its highest 18-49 rating since October 11 and hit a season high in total viewers. Last night's overall viewership of 3.6 million is "30 Rock's" highest since March 15. In a highly competitive half-hour versus CBS's "Big Bang Theory," Fox's "X Factor" and ABC's "Last Resort," "30 Rock" grew versus its prior telecast two weeks earlier by 8 percent in 18-49 rating (1.3 vs. 1.2 on November 15) and is up 8 percent in total viewers (3.613 million vs. 3.336 million).

* It's the third-straight "30 Rock" to grow versus the prior Thursday telecast in total viewers.

* At 8:30 p.m. ET, "Up All Night" (1.2/3 in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall) retained 92 percent of its 18-49 lead-in from "30 Rock" and retained 100 percent in adults 18-34 (1.0 vs. 1.0). Keep in mind that last season "Up All Night" added an average 51 percent to these next-day "live plus same day" ratings when Nielsen reported "live plus seven day" results, the biggest percentage increase for any comedy on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox.

* From 9-9:31 p.m. ET, "The Office" (1.9/5 in 18-49, 3.9 million viewers overall) tied for #1 in the half-hour among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in men 18-34. "The Office" built on its lead-in by 58 percent in 18-49 rating and 31 percent in total viewers. Note that last season "The Office" added an average 50 percent to these next-day "live plus same day" ratings when Nielsen reported "live plus seven day" results.

* From 9:31-10:01 p.m. ET, "Parks and Recreation" averaged a 1.4/4 in 18-49 and 3.0 million viewers overall. "Parks" retained 74 percent of its lead-in from "The Office" in adults 18-49, 82 percent in adults 18-34 (1.4 vs. 1.7) and 87 percent in men 18-34 (1.3 vs. 1.5). "Parks" ranked #2 in the half-hour among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in men 18-34.

* From 10:01-11 p.m. ET, "Rock Center with Brian Williams" averaged a 0.9/2 and 3.4 million viewers overall. "Rock Center" maintained its rating from half-hour to half-hour in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 (1.2 vs. 1.2) and grew by 2 percent in total viewers (3.5 million vs. 3.4 million).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday night:

* In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.7/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.2/6 with an encore; and ABC's combo of "Nightline," 3.3/8; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.6/5 with an encore.

* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.6/3 with an encore; "Nightline," 1.1/5; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3 with an encore.

* At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.3/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's first-run "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) tied "Late Late Show" (0.4/2).

* At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
