On Thursday, January 10, 2013, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" delivered its best numbers yet in its new 11:35 p.m. time slot on its third day, spiking over Wednesday by 11% in Total Viewers (3.167 million vs. 2.859 million) and by 15% in Adults 18-49 (1.241 million vs. 1.083 million). In fact, with Thursday's telecast (3.167 million) and Tuesday's debut (3.097 million), "JKL" scored 2 of its Top 3 most-watched episodes ever.

· "Jimmy Kimmel Live" ranked as Thursday's No. 1 talk-show in late-night in Adults 18-49 (1.241 million), beating NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" by an impressive 32% (938,000) and CBS' "The Late Show with David Letterman" by a best-yet 34% (929,000).

· Through its first 3 days in its new time slot (Tuesday-Thursday), "JKL" (1.070 million) is leading "The Tonight Show" by 3% (1.037 million) in Adults 18-49 and CBS' "The Late Show" by 23% (870,000).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "JKL" ranked No. 1 in its time periods in Adults 18-49 in each of the Top 5 U.S. markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia and Dallas.

"Nightline" #1 at 12:35 am in All Target Demos: Bests "Ferguson" and "Fallon" in Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49

On January 10, 2013, ABC's "Nightline" hit time period highs in the 12:35 a.m. time-slot across all target demos: Total Viewers (1.950 million), Adults 25-54 (992,000) and Adults 18-49 (751,000), according to Fast National Preliminary Live + Same Day Nielsen data.

"Nightline" ranked No. 1 versus its CBS and NBC competition in all key target demos (Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49), outdelivering CBS' "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.534 million, 669,000, and 510,000 respectively) and NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.472 million, 651,000 and 572,000, respectively). In fact, in Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49, "Nightline" posted its largest margins of victory yet over both CBS' "Late Late Show" (323,000 and 241,000, respectively) and NBC's "Late Night" (341,000 and 179,000).

"Nightline" surged on ABC's performance on the same night last year (1/12/12) by 28% in Total Viewers (1.950 million vs. 1.519 million), by 31% in Adults 25-54 (992,000 vs. 757,000) and by 41% in Adults 18-49 (751,000 vs. 533,000).

"Nightline" reported on the trial of a petite 32-year-old charged with stabbing, shooting, and slashing her one-time boyfriend; had an exclusive interview with the family of Junior Seau, the NFL superstar and family man whose suicide shocked the nation; and reported on those "snubbed" in the just-announced Oscar nominations.
