"60 MINUTES" MAKES THE TOP 10 Up AGAINST GOLDEN GLOBES
CBS Newsmagazine is on Nielsen List for the Fifth Time in Six Broadcasts
60 MINUTES made the Nielsen Top 10 for the fifth time in six broadcasts, managing to finish among America's most-watched programs despite airing at the same time as the Golden Globe Awards. 60 MINUTES drew 14.05 million viewers to finish at #9 for the week.
It also made the list in households (8.9/13), landing at # 8 in that measurement, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013.
It was the ninth time 60 MINUTES made the list in 15 broadcasts this season.
Sunday's program featured Steve Kroft's story about the rise of technology in the workplace and its effect on workers, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor's first broadcast interview done by Scott Pelley, and Bob Simon's report on the extreme and dangerous sport of free diving.
CBS News Chairman Jeff Fager is the executive producer of 60 MINUTES, America's #1 news program.
