"SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE" MATCHES ITS HIGHEST 18-49 RATING OF THE SEASON
WITH HOST JENNIFER LAWRENCE AND MUSICAL GUEST THE LUMINEERS, THE JAN. 19 EDITION EQUALS THE SHOW'S TOP KEY-DEMO RATING SINCE LAST MAY
UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - January 25, 2013 - The January 19 edition of "Saturday Night Live," hosted by Jennifer Lawrence and featuring musical guest The Lumineers, has matched the show's highest adult 18-49 rating so far this season.
Averaging a 2.6 rating, 10 share in adults 18-49 and 6.8 million viewers overall, the January 19 telecast equaled the show's highest 18-49 rating since September 22, 2012 (with a telecast hosted by Joseph Gordon-Levitt that featured musical guest Mumford & Sons, 2.6).
The last time "Saturday Night Live" rated higher than last weekend's 2.6 in adults 18-49 was May 12, 2012 (with host Will Ferrell and musical guest Usher, 2.7).
In total viewers, the January 19 "Saturday Night Live" delivered the show's biggest overall audience since November 3, 2012 (with host Louis C.K. and musical guest fun, 7.0 million).
The January 19 "Saturday Night Live" was the #1 telecast of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49 and total viewers, outscoring all primetime programs on those networks.
Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."
