Saturday's broadcast of "LIVE TO TELL - The Stranger You Know" featured the story of Marti Hill, whose life changed forever one day in 2010 when she answered an unexpected knock on the door of her Prairie Village, Kansas home. She was attacked by a man she knew, who strangled her to an inch of her life. Worried co-workers summoned police, the first of whom didn't think she was going to make it. She survived. However, to this day she still doesn't know why she was targeted to die.
Hill relived that morning and her inspiring recovery in 48 HOURS: LIVE TO TELL - "The Stranger You Know." Hill told 48 HOURS the incident changed her outlook on life. "When I have a bad day, I focus on the fact that... I don't really have time to have a bad day," she said. "I have things I want to achieve. There's no time for that."
