UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - April 2, 2013 - With "The Voice" ranking #1 and #2 in adults 18-49 among all primetime telecasts on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox for the week of March 25-31, NBC has delivered a 1.6 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49 and 5.4 million viewers overall for that week, according to "live plus same day" viewing data from Nielsen Media Research.

It's NBC's highest 18-49 average in nine weeks, since the week of January 21-27. In total viewers, NBC hit an 11-week high, with its biggest average audience since the week of January 7-13.

The Monday and Tuesday debuts of "The Voice" ranked #1 and #2 for the week on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54; women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54; and teens 12-17. The Monday edition was also #1 for the week on those networks in kids 2-11. Monday's mid-season return of "Revolution" tied for #12 for the week in 18-49 (rankings exclude sports pre- and post-game shows).

Primetime averages for the week of March 25-31 in adults 18-49 are: CBS, 2.3/7; ABC, 1.7/5; NBC, 1.6/5; Fox, 1.6/5; and CW, 0.5/2. In overall total viewers, the weekly averages were: CBS, 9.0 million; ABC, 7.1 million; NBC, 5.4 million; Fox, 5.2 million; and CW, 1.4 million.

Season to date averages through eight weeks are: CBS, 3.0/8; Fox, 2.5/7; NBC, 2.4/7; ABC, 2.3/6; and CW, 0.7/2. In overall total viewers, the season averages are: CBS, 12.2 million; ABC, 7.8 million; Fox, 7.1 million; NBC, 7.1 million; and CW, 1.8 million.

NBC highlights for the week of March 25-31

Monday: NBC was a dominant #1 Monday night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49 with the #1 show of the night on those networks in 18-49 and all other key demographics, "The Voice," and the night's #1 drama in 18-49, "Revolution."

The spring debut of "The Voice" (4.8 rating, 13 share in adults 18-49, 13.6 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) grew 14 percent versus its 4.2 rating for the prior premiere on September 10, 2012. In total viewers, "The Voice" is up 11 percent versus that prior debut (13.6 million vs. 12.3 million). The 4.8 rating matches the highest result for any non-sports Monday telecast on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox since March 12, 2012.

In the time period, "The Voice" debut ranked #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in every key demographic. In 18-49, "The Voice" topped ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" by a 100 percent margin (4.8 vs. 2.4), out-rated CBS's 8-10 p.m. ET comedy block by 85 percent (4.8 vs. 2.6) and beat Fox's dramas by 129 percent (4.8 vs. 2.1).

The mid-season return of "Revolution" (2.6/7 in adults 18-49, 7.0 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) ranked #1 in the hour in 18-49 and other key demographics and is the #1 drama of the night in 18-49. Returning to the NBC schedule after a four-month break, "Revolution" finished within 0.1 of a rating point of its average for its prior three original telecasts last November in 18-49 (2.6 vs. 2.7). Note that "Revolution" has established itself as a highly time-shifted show, growing by an average of 62 percent in the fourth quarter when going from its "live plus same day" rating (3.10) to "live plus seven days" (5.03).

Tuesday: "The Voice" (4.1/12 in 18-49, 12.4 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) jumped 28 percent versus the year-ago initial Tuesday telecast (with a 4.1 rating vs. a 3.2 from 9-10 p.m. on April 3) and was up 47 percent in total viewers (12.4 million vs. 8.5 million). "The Voice" was also up 3 percent in 18-49 versus the first Tuesday telecast last fall, (3.1 vs. 4.0) and was up 9 percent in total viewers (12.4 million vs. 11.4 million). It was NBC's best non-sports 18-49 rating in the time period since October 30, 2012.

The 4.1 for "The Voice" beats every Tuesday telecast on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox since the "Voice" finale on December18, 2012.

"Go On" (1.9/5 in 18-49, 5.1 million in total viewers at 9 p.m. ET) jumped 90 percent week to week in 18-49 (to a 1.9 from a 1.0) and 78 percent in total viewers (5.118 million vs. 2.869 million). It was the top "Go On" since December 4 in both categories.

"The New Normal" (1.3/3 in 18-49, 3.3 million in total viewers at 9:31 p.m. ET) was up week to week by 86 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.3 from a 0.7) and up 57 percent in total viewers (3.3 million vs. 2.1 million). It was the highest-rated "New Normal" in 18-49 and total viewers since January 15.

"Smash" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) grew week to week by 43 percent (to a 1.0 from a 0.7) and 15 percent in total viewers (3.1 million vs. 2.7 million). It was the top "Smash" in 18-49 since the season premiere did a 1.2 on February 5 and best in total viewers since February 19.

Wednesday: "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.7/5 in adults 18-49, 6.6 million viewers overall at 9 p.m. ET) captured its highest 18-49 rating since January 30 and its biggest overall audience since January 9. "SVU" was up week to week by 6 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.7 from a 1.6), and 20 percent in total viewers (6.6 million vs. 5.5 million).

"Chicago Fire" (1.7/5 in adults 18-49, 6.9 million viewers overall at 10 p.m. ET) was up week to week by 7 percent in total viewers (6.9 million vs. 6.4 million) with the show's biggest overall audience since January 30. In the time period, "Chicago Fire" ranked #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49.

Thursday: An encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 3.9 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) grew from its first half-hour to its second by 22 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.1 rating from a 0.9), 25 percent in adults 25-54 (1.5 vs. 1.2) and 24 percent in total viewers (4.4 million vs. 3.5 million).

Friday: "Fashion Star" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 2.8 million viewers overall at 8 p.m. ET) ranked #2 in the hour among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in total viewers.

"Grimm" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall at 9 p.m. ET) maintained its 18-49 rating of the prior two weeks and generated half-hour to half-hour growth of 8 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.4 from a 1.3).

"Rock Center with Brian Williams" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) matched it three-week high in 18-49 rating (equaling its best since March 8) and reported a four-week high in total viewers (best since March 1).

Saturday: An encore telecast of "Dateline NBC" (0.7/2 in 18-49, 3.8 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET) reported NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period, excluding sports, since December 1. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Dateline" grew by 125 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.9 from a 0.4).

A rebroadcast of "Saturday Night Live," with host Jamie Foxx and musical guest Ne-Yo (0.9/3 in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall at 10 p.m. ET) grew versus results from one week earlier by 13 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 0.9 rating from a 0.8), 44 percent in adults 25-54 (1.3 vs. 0.9) and 38 percent in total viewers (3.002 million vs. 2.179 million).

Sunday: "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice" (1.5/4 in 18-49, 4.7 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) ranked #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in all key demos (adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54), including a tie with CBS in women 25-54.

From 7-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "The Voice" (1.1/3 in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall) ranked #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key categories. The "Voice" encore from 7-9 p.m. grew from its first half-hour to its fourth by 129 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 from a 0.7).
