"Dancing with the Stars: The Results" Is Up/"Body of Proof" Continues to Win at 10pm

Building from start to finish in viewers (+12%) and young adults (+10%) in the 8pm hour against NBC's The Voice, ABC freshman Splash drew more viewers than Fox's Hell's Kitchen (+13%) for the 5th week in a row.

Growing week to week in Total Viewers (+3%) and Adults 18-49 (+5%), ABC's DWTS: The Results Show moved up to #1 during the 9 o'clock hour on both measures. D.L. Hughley was the fourth celebrity to leave the competition this season. In addition to increasing over the prior week, the ABC dancing results program was up over its comparable fourth telecast of Season 15 in Adults 18-49 (+5%).

For the 4th consecutive Tuesday, ABC's Body of Proof stood as the most-watched TV show in the 10 o'clock hour, topping CBS' first-run Golden Boy by 1.1 million viewers and more than tripling the second hour of NBC's Ready for Love (+221%). In addition, the ABC drama beat NBC's Ready for Love by 27% in Adults 18-49. Body of Proof held even week to week in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, while improving its hour over the same night last year with original drama programming by 38% in viewers.

"Body of Proof" (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

For the 4th consecutive Tuesday, ABC's "Body of Proof" (9.0 million) stood as the most-watched TV show in the 10 o'clock hour, topping CBS' first-run "Golden Boy" by 1.1 million viewers (7.9 million) and more than tripling the second hour of NBC's "Ready for Love" (+221% - 2.8 million). In addition, the ABC drama beat NBC's "Ready for Love" by 27% in Adults 18-49 (1.4/4 vs. 1.1/3). "Body of Proof" held even week to week in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, while improving its hour over the same night last year with original drama programming by 38% in viewers (6.5 million on 4/17/12).

A note about increasing DVR penetration and year-to-year rating comparisons: Year-to-year rating comparisons based on the Live + Same Day data stream are distorted by the level of DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample, which has jumped up to 48% currently, from 44% at the same point in 2012. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which may not be reflected in the overnight next day numbers. The only truly valid year-to-year comparison would be one based on the Live + 7 Day metric, once those stats are released by Nielsen.
