"DEADLIEST CATCH" SEASON FINALE MAKES DISCOVERY CHANNEL THE TOP CABLE NETWORK FOR PERSONS AND MEN ON TUESDAY
"DEADLIEST CATCH" Grabs 2.91 Million Viewers on July 30
(NEW YORK) Powered by strong ratings of the two-hour season finale of DEADLIEST CATCH, Discovery Channel was the #1 cable network in Prime among both Persons and Men 25-54 delivery and Persons and Men 18-49 delivery (no exclusions) on Tuesday, July 30. Last night's new episode of DEADLIEST CATCH was the #1 cable program among Persons and Men 25-54 delivery; it was also #2 in ALL OF TELEVISION in among Men 25-54 (no exclusions).
The series earned a 2.25 HH/1.83 P25-54 rating and delivered 2.91million viewers P2+, beating most broadcast television series including:" ABC's "Extreme Weight Loss," FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance" and NBC's "Hollywood Game Night." This marks the 15th week out of 16 weeks the series was #1 in Men 25-54 delivery (excluding sports).
In addition, DEADLIEST CATCH: THE BAIT, delivered its highest ratings since the season premiere in April 2013. The pre-show series, which provides an inside look from the captains' perspective, earned a 1.34 HH/1.08 P25-54 rating and delivered 1.76 million viewers P2+.
