UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - August 6, 2013 - NBC has finished #1 in adults 18-49 for the primetime week of July 29-August 4, posting a 1.6 rating, the highest weeklong 18-49 average among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in the six weeks since ABC carried the NBA Finals during the week of June 17-23. NBC was led by the week's #1 telecast in adults 18-49, NBC's Sports' coverage of the NFL Hall of Fame Game, and the week's #1 unscripted series, "America's Got Talent," according to "live plus same day" ratings figures from Nielsen Media Research,

NBC's Cowboys-Dolphins Hall of Fame Game scored the highest 18-49 rating for any primetime telecast on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox since ABC's Game 7 of the NBA Finals on June 20. Sunday's NFL telecast was also #1 for the week in adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and all key adult-male demos. In kids 2-11 and teens 12-17, "America's Got Talent" delivered the week's #1 primetime ratings on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox.

NBC's top-rated shows for the week in adults 18-49 include: Sunday's NFL Hall of Fame Game (#1); Tuesday's "America's Got Talent" (#3); Wednesday's "Talent" (tied for #5); Monday's "American Ninja Warrior" (tied for #14); Wednesday's "Talent" encore (tied for #14); Monday's "Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls" (tied for #20); Thursday's "Hollywood Game Night" (tied for #20); and Wednesday's "Camp" (tied for #29). Note that these rankings exclude sports pre- and post-game shows.

In addition to winning the week in adults 18-49, NBC was #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults, men and women 18-34; men and women 18-49; and adults and men 25-54.

Primetime averages for the week of July 29-August 4 in adults 18-49 are: NBC, 1.6/5; CBS, 1.2/4; ABC, 1.0/3; Fox, 0.9/3; and CW, 0.4/1. In overall total viewers, the weekly averages were: CBS, 5.8 million; NBC, 5.4 million; ABC, 4.0 million; Fox, 2.4 million; and CW, 1.1 million.

Averages for the 2012-13 Broadcast Year to date are: CBS, 2.5/7; Fox, 2.2/7; NBC, 2.2/6; ABC, 2.1/6; and CW, 0.6/2. In overall total viewers, the season averages are: CBS, 10.5 million; ABC, 7.3 million; NBC, 6.7 million; Fox, 6.3 million; and CW, 1.6 million.

For the 2012-13 broadcast year to date, NBC is tied for #2 in adults 18-49, tied for #2 in adults 25-54 and is #2 outright in adults 18-34.

NBC highlights for the week of July 29-August 4:

Monday: "American Ninja Warrior" (1.5 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49, 5.1 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) ranked #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in the time period among those networks in men 18-34, men 18-49 and men 25-54. "American Ninja Warrior" grew half-hour to half-hour by 14% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.6 rating from a 1.4) and has now generated 18-49 growth of at least 0.2 of a point from its 8 p.m. half-hour to the 8:30 half-hour with all four Monday telecasts so far this summer.

"Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 3.8 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) equaled the top week-four rating for any new reality series on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox so far this summer, despite airing this week against Part 1 of ABC's "Bachelorette" finale. In the time period, "Get Out Alive" ranked #1 in men 18-49 (tie) and men 25-54 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox.

"Siberia" (0.7/2 in adults 18-49, 1.9 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) ranked #2 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in men 18-34, men 18-49 and men 25-54 (tie) versus original drama competition on ABC and CBS.

Tuesday: NBC led Tuesday night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in every key ratings measure, with "America's Got Talent" (2.7/8 in 18-49, 9.8 million viewers overall) ranking as the #1 telecast of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, total viewers and all other key measures. "Talent" topped the #2 telecast on those nets in 18-49 by a 80% margin (with a 2.7 from 9-11 p.m. vs. the 1.5 from 8-10 for Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance"). "America's Got Talent" (2.7/8 from 9-11 p.m.) scored its second-highest Tuesday 18-49 rating in six weeks, down just a tenth of a point from the prior week's first live telecast of the season, and otherwise the show's best rating on a Tuesday since doing a 3.0 on June 18.

An encore telecast of "Hollywood Game Night" (1.0/4 in 18-49 3.5 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) matched the prior week's 18-49 rating in this time period and generated a 6% week-to-week gain in total viewers (3.5 million vs. 3.3 million).

Wednesday: NBC tied for #1 for the night in adults 18-49 and was #1 outright in total viewers with the #1 show of the night in both categories, "America's Got Talent" (2.4/7 in 18-49, 10.3 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET). "Talent's" second results show of the season grew 20% versus last year's second results show in 18-49 rating (2.4 vs. 2.0 from 9-10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2012) and was up by 27% in total viewers (10.3 million vs. 8.1 million). "Talent" also matched its 2.4 rating of one week earlier in 18-49.

"Camp" (1.1/3 in adults 18-49, 3.8 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) grew by 10% versus one week earlier in 18-49 rating (to a 1.1 from a 1.0). In the time period, "Camp" tied for #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in 18-49 and ranked #1 outright among those nets in adults, men and men 18-34, men 18-49 and men 25-54. In its first four weeks, "Camp" has earned NBC's top four 18-49 and total-viewer results in the slot, excluding Stanley Cup Hockey coverage, since May 22.

Thursday: An encore telecasts of "America's Got Talent" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 3.7 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) scored NBC's top results in the time period since in the four weeks since "Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular."

"The Winner Is..." (1.0/3 in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall at 9 p.m. ET) delivered its top Thursday results to date in 18-49 and total viewers, growing week to week by 11% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.0 from a 0.9) and 12% in total viewers (4.3 million vs. 3.8 million). In the time period, "The Winner Is..." ranked #2 in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and other key measures.

"Hollywood Game Night" (1.2/4 in 18-49 4.1 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) won its time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, and was #1 or tied for #1 among those networks in all other key demos. "Hollywood Game Night" grew by 18% from half-hour to half-hour in adults 18-49 (to a 1.3 rating from a 1.1) and has generated half-hour growth with all seven telecasts to date (four Thursday originals and three Tuesday encores). The 1.2 for "Hollywood Game Night" is tied for the best week-four rating for a new reality show on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox this summer (tied with "Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls" and "American Baking Competition"). "Hollywood Game Night" has delivered the best or second-best week-one, week-two, week-three and week-four ratings so far this summer for any new reality series on those networks.

Friday: Encore telecast of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (0.6/3 in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall at 8 p.m. ET and 0.7/3 in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall) matched or topped NBC's highest 18-49 and total-viewer results in their respective half-hours since June 28 ("Dateline NBC").

"Dateline NBC" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 5.4 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) tied for #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 (1.4 rating) and was #1 outright among those networks in total viewers. It's the sixth week in a row "Dateline" has ranked #1 or tied for #1 in its Friday time period among those networks in those three categories.

Saturday: An encore telecast of "American Ninja Warrior" (0.5/2 in 18-49, 2.0 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) ranked #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49. Week to week in this slot, the "Ninja Warrior" rebroadcast was up a tenth of a rating point or 25% in 18-49 (to a 0.5 from a 0.4) and up 17% in total viewers (2.0 million vs. 1.7 million).

"WrestleMania: The World Television Premiere" (0.6/2 in 18-49, 1.9 million viewers overall at 9 p.m. ET) delivered four-week highs in the time period for NBC in adults 18-49 and total viewers (since July 6, "American Ninja Warrior"). In the time period, "WrestleMania" ranked #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and finished #1 among those networks in adults, men and women 18-34, men 18-49 and men 25-54.

"Do No Harm" (0.4/1 in 18-49, 1.6 million viewers overall at 10 p.m. ET) matched its highest 18-49 rating to date for a Saturday telecast and generated its biggest overall audience since June 29.

Sunday: NBC Sports' coverage of the NFL Hall of Fame Game between the Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins (3.8/11 in 18-49, 10.1 million viewers overall from 8:11-11:05 p.m. ET) scored the highest 18-49 rating for a primetime telecast on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox since Game 7 of the NBA Finals on Thursday, June 20 (10.6). It's also the highest-rated pre-season NFL game in adults 18-49 in three years, since the August 8, 2010 Hall of Fame matchup between the Cowboys and Bengals on NBC (4.2) and top pre-season game in total viewers since an August 21, 2011 Chargers-Cowboys game on NBC (10.7 million). It's the second-highest Hall of Fame Game in 18-49 rating and total viewers since 2006 (Raiders-Eagles, 3.9/11 in 18-49, 10.6 million viewers overall on August 6, 2006), trailing over that span only the 2010 Cowboys-Bengals matchup (4.2 in 18-49, 11.4 million viewers overall).

NBC was also #1 in 18-49 from 7-8 p.m. ET with "America's Got Talent" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 3.2 million viewers overall).

NBC won Sunday night in adults 18-49, more than doubling its closest primetime competitor among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox (with a 3.0 rating in 18-49 vs. a 1.3 for CBS). NBC's averages of a 3.0 in 18-49 and 8.4 million viewers overall are the highest for ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox on a Sunday since June 16, the night of ABC's coverage of Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
